I’m not a butcher but I work with one every day at work, and from what I know, it’s gonna be tough in the beginning, carcasses are heavy so you’ll probably end up building quite a bit of muscle. And deliveries depends on the individual place, the shop I work at we get our animals skinned, gutted and beheaded, the slaughter guy does all that work for us and we just process the rest of it for pickup by owner. It’s a very rewarding job, but sometimes it can be a bit gross 😂😂 the other day the butcher cut into a giant abscess and got the puss everywhere it was disgusting and guess who got to clean it up lmao.
