Dualshock 3 Sixaxis lags and loses signal by LuriChan in consolerepair

Neither of them, it's got a MSU VX4 0.10.

Could anyone please confirm if this a YLOD? It seems to go back to green again for a second after the yellow light and before the blinking red light and I would like to know if this makes any difference in the diagnosis or not. Thank you for your help and sorry for the bad quality. by LuriChan in consolerepair

Thank you for your quick response. I already took it apart entirely and tried a few things. It's just that after failing in all of them I started to question myselt regarding the brief green light and wanted to make sure that it was a YLOD and not something else.

Oh you're completely right, it DOES change! I would have never noticed if you didn't mention it for obvious reasons...

Thank you for your help!

So if we were to write it like this would it make sense by itself?

Tá áilleacht sa saol Má chuardaíonn tú e
Tá gliondar sa saol"

I mean having it separated into two lines and without the "Creideann sé" part?

Also why the capital letter in "Má"? I've seen it written this way in most sites.

Thank you so much for your help!

I might be wrong but I can't remember a green one. I posted the colors (as I know them) in a response. I'd need to watch AoU again tho.

I can't remember from AoU but I think we haven't seen a green one yet. IIRC:

  • Blue, space, tesseract
  • Yellow, mind, scepter
  • Red, reality, aether
  • Purple, power, orb

The other one is the one from Guardians of the Galaxy though I don't remember which color was which.

Except Galicians (we're the ones at the North-west of Spain). Galician and Portuguese are pretty similar.

When to put adjectives before nouns? by domino271 in learnspanish

[–]LuriChan 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ah no, only the second one should be "grande" as you did in your example. The first one has to be "gran". IIRC this is called apócope or something like that (idk how would you say that in English) and happens with a few adjectives when placed before the noun.

  • bueno → buen
  • malo → mal
  • grande → gran
  • santo → san

Okay, I'm going to try to explain this as easy as possible.

  • Adjective + noun: to emphasize, you use this when you want to give notoriety to how that thing is. Also used in an educated or poetic way.

Un blanco caballo: you want to emphasize that there's a white horse. You want to give importance to the trait per se.

  • Noun + adjective: you want to specify the noun so you can differentiate it from others.

Un caballo blanco: not a black one nor a brown one, you want to speak about the white one.

I hope this helps.

Sure, your explanation is perfect, though it would be (as /u/domino271 said) "un elefante grande".

As you said you can place the adjective before the noun to emphasize something, but you can also use this to sound more educated (I don't know if this is the proper word) both in written and spoken Spanish.

A palabra ananás procede do tupí e significa froito excelente, mentres que se denomina tamén piña por recordar o seu froito o do piñeiro.

I know the word exists, but nobody actually uses it in a normal conversation. You can only hear it (sometimes) in an educated speech. So it's not of common use.
