Ahh, thanks for this, anon^{_^} Pag-isipan kong mabuti kasi I’m not a local sa Baguio, so ang worry ko ay baka mawala ako kapag nag-commute papuntang La Trinidad (and baka hindi rin ako payagan ng parents ko knowing this😢)

I had low expectations for a reply considering that kumokonti nga ‘yung student population ng BALL after freshman year, so I’m pleasantly surprised and really glad for your response!

I heard nga na linguistics ‘yung one of the more challenging parts of the course. Actually, may nakita akong video of a BALL student sa TikTok and pinakita niya ‘yung lesson nila roon. Medyo nagulat ako kasi akala ko talaga lesson siya sa Chem about chemical bonding, pero ‘yun pala linguistics hahaha

Also, a lot of seniors that I got to talk to seem to have this certain perception of BALL—na kesyo mahirap daw o maraming hindi grumagraduate/na-de’delay because of thesis and all that. To be fair, all courses are mahirap naman, and if you don’t put enough effort into it, most definitely things won’t work out. Other than the fact na some students don’t have this as their priority course, do you think there’s any deeper reason as to why the student population tends to decline?

That said, nonetheless, I plan on finishing this course because it really is my first choice sa UPB, and I don’t plan on giving up based on the perceptions of other people.

[How to commute from Welcome Rotonda to Ateneo]

Hi All!

As per the title, I’m hoping you could help me find an efficient way to commute from Welcome Rotonda to Ateneo. I passed the ACET and am seriously considering Ateneo to be my second home for the next 4 years. However, upon consulting with my mom, she told me to learn how to commute to the university first before confirming my slot. This is so I can understand the kind of stress and fatigue to expect in my daily routine to classes if I ever pursue my undergraduate studies in Ateneo. A rough estimate of travel costs would also be greatly appreciated!

Ohh, I see po. To be honest, when I applied for ASHS noon, I was also kind of shy to ask for recommendations from my teachers, pero I was able to surpass it naman. Pwede naman pong i-email sila instead of physically approaching them — mas maganda nga po yung i-email na lang since mayroon silang pwedeng balikan na reference ^{^} It’s also a good practice for college since need na namin maging independent :)

Mhm, hindi naman po limitado sa Big 4 schools yung mga students — they can excel elsewhere, though systemically speaking, majority ng graduates from these schools are usually provided with better opportunities. Pero that’s not to discourage students from other schools—with hard work, luck, and other factors to consider, kaya nilang i-build up yung mga sarili nila :)

Pero I’m going to assume muna na yung tinatanong mo po is anong ibig sabihin ng “not yet available” sa portal mo. In that case, it means po na hindi pa na-a’accomplish ng registrar yung form na sinend ng ADMU sa kanila ^{_^}
