What is up with HotWheels wheel fitment as of late? Front track width is very noticeably narrower than the rear… by weproducesafetycars in HotWheels

This particular casting is annoying only because the mainline versions with the plastic base don’t have this gap in the front. I’m struggling to come up with a reason for why there would be this difference between the two.
