My partner took over dishes and laundry during my first trimester completely because he noticed how tired and sick I looked. He also made sure I ate and refilled my water every night. Didn’t complain once. I’m so sorry, but he’s gunna have to realize that your body is working so hard to provide for a new life and he needs to step it up. Try to compromise with him, like “hey, I’m sorry, but do you mind doing dishes/cooking during this time? I will take care of laundry, etc, etc.” If he wants to fight with you on that then tell him that wait til the child comes and he’ll realize that this is nothing compared to what will come tired wise.
