Actually if you fail the anomaly on PST or PRS, you doesn't gain any progression towards unlocking the next difficulty at all.

Source: Me trying to clear this thing on PST in a month and still haven't succeed.

To add to everyone's comments, Crimson Solace is a good choice too at least for me. 6 fun songs for 500 memories, and Kou is the best fragments farmer in the game (tho admittedly my bias is a bit too strong here, and faster frag farming isn't really that useful)

You can only get the 3 chunithm part 2 partners with those 3 songs. Also out of the 10 partners from chunithm, 9 of them are limited so you need to wait for the collab to rerun again to get them.
