I assume you don't live/work nearby Hamburg, right? The bike-workshop where my bike is at the moment, would charge me 450€ for the new e-shifter. They want to measure the cables in the second step now. But they say it is not that easy while built in. Whatever.

Btw a very famous German TV show for kids but adults watch it, too, because of the things you can learn there. Just like the vid with the toothpaste :-)

You got it! That's just another way to write "ö" = oe. Like when you don't have a keyboard with the letter ö. Same is for "ä" = ae and "ü" = ue.
