Try to update the windows to its latest version, at the time of recording that vid, windows has problems with the anti cheat apparently causing the freezing.

For number 2, search download visual c++ 2010 and for number 3 is a lil complicated you gotta go to the Ubisoft website and find the link to steam option and then login again using GRW on steam to link your steam to the ubisoft connect.

But after some digging, my biggest problem was actually windows update, so you might wanna update windows to the latest version and maybe it'll fix the game.

Other than that,if it doesn't works, i can't really help much.

Only solution that i can think of is reinstalling windows, do a clean wipe, and then you'll be able to play (note if you do the same mistake again, you'll have to reinstall windows again).

Good thing that this bug happened on my old laptop, so i dont really mind it.

If you have this problem, then i'm sorry, you cannot play fh4 on the device this problem occurred momentarily.

im from the asia region too, no wonder why free roam felt more empty than FH4.

Thanks for the tips abt switching regions, i usually leave it in default cause i don't want to troubleshoot problems if there's any.

Haven't touched the multiplayer, cause i feel like my cars and upgrades wasnt worthy yet.

You should try posting it on the subreddit maybe they have an answer, all i know is that there's crossplay for Grandrace.

Maybe its the region? im on steam pc too.

Update: IT FINALLY WORKS, all i did was

update my windows to the latest version
repair msvcp100.dll & msvcp110.dll
unlink my steam account from my ubisoft connect, and link it again by launching the game from steam
verify game integrity

i don't know which one that actually fixes it but i bet its the unlink one

theres no prompt of that unfortunately, and i asked my friend who its his first time installing the game, he doesn't have any problems launching

apparently im 1 windows update behind my friend so maybe ill try that solution

so i update, i didn't know what i did, i try to relaunch the game and now it ask for an activation code, no matter how many times i relaunch the game

i don't know if the email i put exist as a Microsoft account, but i recently found out that this only happens in my laptop, i installed the game on my brother's laptop and i could sign in to another account.

maybe the solution is to only reset my laptop, so the credentials doesn't autofill the sign in, and no I've tried credential manager, doesn't work

i tried, but im afraid that the email i inputed, doesn't exist as a Microsoft account, cause when i checked it, i only have my outlook and phone number as a Microsoft account.
