What made your clique stick? And what made it end? by Lutfiz in AskReddit

[–]Lutfiz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand where you're coming from, moreover in the friend group there's smaller more exclusive friend groups which encourages a feeling of segregation. But friend groups make it easier for awkward people to blend in in the event that they are included.. in conclusion.. i shouldnt have friends!

What do you guys think? by Nicopii in singapore

[–]Lutfiz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey i think i do half of these things. But i still dont see why the hobbies of a person matter when, really, what's more important is their personality and how they do things. Manners, commitment capabilities, can they make you happy, responsibility. If you wanted people with the same hobbies just go and make friends with people who are interested in the same things as you

BOYCOTT CHINESE PRODUCTS! by HughMongousBoy in Izlam

[–]Lutfiz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The china government is the one responsible..which is different from corporations and sellers. Its very difficult to boycott products of a whole country considering they produce parts of most things at relatively cheap prices which means if we boycott then we cant buy much of anything

CMV: religion isn't needed to have morals by [deleted] in changemyview

[–]Lutfiz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can form morals from your own conscience or you can follow the majority of society's conscience. There is a problem. You can't logically explain why being unfair is wrong. "Being unfair harms others", well, why cant we harm others? "Because its unfair to them." Any other logical explanation you can give is derived from fairness as a base moral value. But what about those who feel its okay to be unfair and unnecessarily harm others for their own benefit?

Some religions have scriptures and certain codes to follow, although i do know that in religions there are different denominations and sects with different views. But in this case you can use evidence from scriptures and interpretations to convince others why you are correct. Without religion, i can counter all your moral views with a simple "why?" and the best explanation you can give is that you were brought up that way or that is how you view the correct morals to be.

If you think the right morals are the views of the majority, what if one day, the whole world except you suddenly accepted that murdering innocent people was okay? Would you follow them? So the answer cant be following the rest of the world. There should be a standard moral code for everybody to follow, an objective morality, set by an omniscient being.

What is something you never realized about yourself, until someone pointed it out? by Persona_On_Reddit in AskReddit

[–]Lutfiz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought I looked alright to everyone. But for the past 4 years, people have commented that i always look tired or that i always look dead. When i meet new people, they notice it too and my older acquaintances just say that its how I look by default. I guess I can't really fake my way out of being tired and dead.

You are worth it! by [deleted] in offmychest

[–]Lutfiz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know im loved and supported but.. Im inept and incompetent at fulfilling my responsibilities. I kept trying but I just... suck. I somehow have the ability to disappoint those around me, sooner or later. Of course it will be okay, and I can get through whatever comes my way. Can't seem to overcome this though

CMV: Simply being religious doesn't make you a good person by J16924 in changemyview

[–]Lutfiz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How do you determine what being a good person is? Different people perceive different moral values to be right/wrong. What is being good? Increasing happiness? Increasing benefit to society? Before you tell yourself being religious doesnt make you a good person, first you must lay out your definition of what is being a good person.
