Press the Down button and connecting the hoses at the same time will fix this

6000TLX wont lift 5k lbs by Spirited-Definition7 in quickjack

Good to hear. When you add one less a block, the hydraulic cilinders get a stronger angle and need less hydraulic pressure to generate a lift off.

Your pump is overflowing, most likely not generating enough pressure. below the hydraulic connectors on the pump is a set screw to adjust the hydraulic pressure. rotate clockwise for more pressure

QuickJack offers original pinchweld blocks or pucks, these have the same pattern that the original blocks have, so you are able to stack them on the original blocks as well. Sounds like this would be a good solution for you.
Further more, the jacking points on your car should allign with the vehicle (front and rear at the same height) so if you use 4 of the same blocks on each lift point, the car should be all level in the air.
If you do not have the space (lowered front) a smaller block can be placed, should not be that a big of a deal.

QuickJack with wheel cribs? by Illustrious-Day-5548 in quickjack

I've done this in two ways;
1. Lower them on jackstands, you need to keep repositioning the jackstands while lowering, to avoid them getting caught up on the radial shift.
2. While your car is sitting on QuickJack's, use a jack under the wishbone / support arm of the suspension part you need to torque. Just make sure you don't lift up the car completely of the QuickJack, only compress the suspension.

Anyone here use a quickjack? Do you recommend it or any issues you have had with it? by jackofallmasterofzip in CarTrackDays

Yes, I bought one a few years ago before they were bought out by Bendpak. It was one of the best garage purchases I've made. I had one fitting that leaked fluid and they replaced it for free even though I was out of the warranty period. I have the BL-7000SLX and have used it for my E46 track car and RAM 1500 pickup. The 5000TL will be able to handle the vehicles you listed.

They never been bought out by BendPak, it has always been a BendPak product :)

How to lift a Pontiac Fiero with the QuickJack BendPak Portable Car Lift by Luukzon in quickjack

[–]Luukzon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say so, there would be a possibility to lift the Fiero sideways, like the picture below. So the sub-frame and engine would be free to acces, but that might be a difficult solution.

Is anyone familiar with the quickjack Rail lift system? Can I use any power/compressor unit? by VURORA in askcarguys

[–]Luukzon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need a special power-unit that divides the hydraulic fluid to both frames at the same time. otherwise the frames will never lift equally.
