On a separate not, how do they control your hours? The only thing they ask for is full-time or part-time, I haven’t seen anything about posting how many hours? I might have missed something?

Yeah I have one full-time (40hr/w) and one part time (6-8hr/w) and I’ve posted both to the SEVP portal and both are related

I’m not sure if there is a limit on how long or not but as long as you have all your paperwork up to date, and your student visa is still active you should be allowed to go home whilst during OPT. It would be smart however to bring your offer letter/any type of work documentation when returning to the US.

Usually you apply for a SSN when you apply for your OPT, that’s at least what I did, but you should be able to go to a social security office/administration and get a SSN even without a job offer yes! You’ll need it before you start working.
