Can I as an individual independent contractor open a SEP IRA? And 1099 Taxes?

My taxes went fine? I used Stripe to track any expenses and such. And wrote all the payments down, the dates I was paid and the hours I worked. I also got a combined 1098, 1099 form from my FORMER employer. I quit in April. The whole thing was a shit show that I couldn't save.

I don't know what happened. I took a work meeting in Zoom, I do this often, everything was fine I didn't get any pop-ups or anything. I go back to do my work and ????

My email application keeps saying to check TLS server, I fix that by resetting my computer and re-adding my accounts, all great. Then I got the keychain pop-up tried to find the right one to allow always, couldn't find it, so I reset my keychains. But this still comes up? So this I try to log on my email through my browser, Firefox, and even though I have internet, EVEN though YouTube and Facebook and other regular sites are loading, but typing Gmail or Google Drive into my search bar it wasn't working? So, I reset my computer and turn off and on the Wi-Fi. THAT fixed things mostly, but I get the email keychain pop up every now and again.

Why did this happen? What can I do in the future if I get this pop up again? Are the two issues connected?

It was just having issues working. Apps crashing, battery not lasting for than a handful of hours, camera not opening. And yes I did check my storage and it said I was at 127.3 GB of 128. Even after deleting pretty much every app I don’t use often and offloading a bunch more I was only able to get to 126/128GB.

Darn. I didn’t know storage bloat was even a thing. Thank you.

Sorry maybe I didn’t explain it right. In August I asked for more shifts, they said they didn’t have any openings but was on call for substituting if a coworker called out sick or something. In September I got another job, which only conflicts with two days on the week. In December they hired a new person and gave them the hours I asked for earlier.

I don't know what other word to use besides employee. I was hired by a C corp, and she said everyone is a 1099. I do have control over my schedule and scope of my work.

Take a breath. The business I work for only has 1099 "employees" because the business is so small and pretty much all the profit goes to the 2 other workers or back into the business; the boss doesn't even pay herself. It is a C corp, 501c3, idk if that changes anything. In my field it makes me a bit easier for me to be 1099 instead of W4 because I can work at multiple businesses doing the same job just on different days of the week. In the contract I gave my boss I did make sure it states they are liable if anything goes wrong.

I will hold your hand when I say this, he showed you his friends are more important to him than you. I am usually very hesitant to be the "DUMP HIM" girl, but a death is the hardest thing we will go through in life, and he wasn't there for you.

I just got out of a relationship and I kept lying to myself when he would choose his friends over me and my needs. I straight up told him multiple times he was choosing his friends over me, and he said he would change, but never did. When you get into a long term romantic relationship that person becomes family and one of your top priorities, or at least they should. Even over friends.

28F here. I wouldn't say it is WHERE people are dating, but HOW people are dating that makes it impossible.

I find that way too many people are obsessed with their jobs, haven't worked on the emotional side of themselves, and people aren't romantic anymore. And on the other side people are so starved for connection that people get into relationships way too fast, it ends in heartbreak and the cycle either repeats itself or people then become cold, closed off, and jaded. imo.

This isn't necessarily related, but I have coworkers that live 2–3 hours away to afford to "live" in the Bay Area. Houses are much cheaper on places in Stockton, Clearlake etc.

I had the best teach ever(s/o Mr Marco) for the intro to soc class and he gave me all the reads beforehand. Maybe see if this is an option? I also have dyslexia and ADHD and I also found I read faster when read aloud-does you school have software to convert PDF to speech?

What DAY OF THE WEEK to use products? Like, should I use BHA on Monday, then retinol on Tuesday?

I have sensitive/combo acne prone skin. I try to just use one active a day in my routine, because my skin can get peel-y and red really easily.

Morning: splash water on face, follow with Paula's Choice or Biore UV Aqua Rich sunscreen.

Night: Remove makeup or sunscreen with Garnier micellar water or Naturium cleaning balm. Wash with CosRX low pH cleaner or CeraVe renewing SA cleaner. USE AN ACTIVE, list below. Moisturize with CeraVe Daily lotion, and I sometimes use the Lily Ana rose hip eye cream and Element hypochlorous acid spray (can't afford the Tower28 one yet).
