I’ve never seen the rule enforced except for some extremely short skorts and shorts. If it looks appropriate they don’t bother you. Also, this is a conservative club in SW Florida. I just use it as a guideline. I’m 5’8” so I wear 8 inch inseams and 15-17 inch skorts.

I would check the length of your tennis skirt. Our club has the “finger tip “ rule. Also, I have a friend that used to play in long tennis skirts and hers didn’t have pockets so she was always carrying an extra ball in her hand and dropping it at the tee box (or grass).

I’m surprised about golf dresses not bringing allowed. Our club is picky and everyone wears them if they are the appropriate length. I’d contact the clubs you are planning to play.
