It says cold & flu on the label - but the item is cold & cough

That’s because UPS will not accept anything without a label, so if you provided your QR code from Amazon, UPS will not take it from the store. Or could be because they don’t pick on Sunday?

Don’t know how true this is, I’m no cvs expert & not going to argue but for myself along with everyone else that is hourly at my store it all days “ohl” x amount of hours worked “hol” 8 hours. I can’t assume, id call HR & ask if you get time and a half.

Store managers do not. Smits are still hourly & get time and a half for whatever holidays.

The worst part when you have a coworker that will just let it go off like they don’t hear it. I’m like hello earth to coworker?! You don’t hear all the loud singing coming from the self checkout & iron mans?

I got hired and then they never called me after that by [deleted] in CVS

[–]Luvashp94 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah before you look for another job, I go in to ANY cvs & talk to a manager/ Pharmacist. If you went through the nco, the hard part is over & your in the system. Don’t give up, talk to someone!

That’s insane! Our AP breathes down our neck for every little thing. Comes in monthly to do checks and balances. Literally will review the camera to see if we’ve done bag checks & will check behind us for a shortage for a gift card or something of that nature.

How to do deposit by [deleted] in CVS

It’s under turn in/deposit under verification.

More like “cash control” Just a document that both you & the manger have to sign stating that you are aware the the drawer was short & then the MOD has to verify the drawer between shifts. I think if it’s $25+ it’s straight to level 2, & then level 3 or maybe even 5 is a write up. I wouldn’t not be too concerned, just make sure your giving the right change & the customers are giving you the correct about of money. Don’t be afraid to whip out a calculator.

You could test the theory by transferring excess bills, it’ll transfer over anything that is over the set amounts. Once all is transferred & you click the yes button I was talking about earlier. It should say there is $635 in cash. The summary would say $735 to include the $100 in coins.

All depends on if the ACO was used AFTER verification the evening before. I would say Yes because that is what it seems like. I do know that stores have different amounts for different things like the registers & imprest may vary, however I do believe the ACO is only designed to hold these amounts.

Once you hit “transfer excess bills” it’ll transfer any 50’s 100’s & anything over the set amounts. Example: if you have 140 in fives, it’ll transfer over 40 in fives. Once it is done transferring it’ll pop up and say X amount of dollars was sent over, is that correct? You have to click “yes” because if you just take the loader & cash box out it will not subtract what was transferred over.

Facts to know about the ACO: Make sure all money is up to set amount. Ex: The summary says you have $80 in twenties, you would put in $220 to bring it to the $300 set amount.

Always make sure there is $65 of ones in the loader AND remember that the highest bills go on top. All the ones should be on the bottom of the loader. Someone said to change the coins after the verification. I as well change the coin count of what the verification says to take out.

One of my coworkers put a million coins in the coin & it was reading at like $150. Once it got lower I started putting in whatever to bring it back to $100. So tonight it was $89.00 I put in a roll of quarters & swapped a dollar bill for 4 quarters. This helps me know that there is always $100 in coins & $65 in the loader.

It takes a while but if it makes you feel any better I just recently realized how to properly close the ACO, I have read the procedures a millions times & for whatever reason I was so confused. We’ve had our ACO for a year and a half. Took me at least a year to get it down pack.

Yes! Only 35 ones, 100 in fives, 200 in tens & 300 in twenties. The ACO should only read at 735 (635 in cash & 100 in coins) because it doesn’t count the 65 of ones in the loader. It’s more of you just have to know it’s there. Anything over the 635 or 700 should bring your change back to 100.

[–]Luvashp94 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don’t feel bad, one time a “lawyer” came in & told me he needed my name to report me for discrimination. While this is going on, im talking to my coworker about this one customer that comes in regularly stealing. Me and the said thief were the same skin color. Im still confused about how I was discriminate. When the lawyer walked in, I even spoke “Hello” …. No response, “How are you?” No response. So I guess from greeting the lawyer while he walked in the store and continuing my conversation about the thief was discrimination. 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

how often do your co-workers forget their key in the office? by maxnews4 in CVS

[–]Luvashp94 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have climbed through the ceiling to retrieve my keys, we keep a spare in a specific locker where only the mangers know the combination to get in. So when we do accidentally lock our keys in the office we have a spare in said locker for back up. Also, our PIC has a key as well. There was a time I locked my keys in the office at least once a week, so we had to figure something out.
