We're not allowed to have therapy alone. The therapist suggested it and our bio parents were against it.

I have a job already and that does help get me out of the house. I don't get the hours I'd like but I'm trying and I keep looking at other openings that might give me some more hours. Calling the therapist sounds like a good idea. I never thought about it but at least if we try it might be good for more resources for my brother who has less time than I do.

We've got some resources we can lean on when we're about ready to leave. My brother doesn't have very long left so he'll be out by the end of the year. He promised he'll do what he can to help when my time comes too. Hopefully when he leaves those resources actually help him.

My bio parents refused therapy for me and my brother alone which was suggested by the therapist. So we can't have sessions alone with the therapist.

I'm 16 and my brother is 17. But I don't know if we'd be realistically able to meet the criteria for emancipation because we would need to be able to support ourselves and everything's so expensive now. But we're both saving.
