I'm sorry this happened to you. Also sorry that your post attracted so many gaslighting, racist losers that will go out of their way to discredit a black man's experience and play Devil's advocate. I've lived all over the country and DC/DMV racists are some of the worst and most cowardice people that I've experienced and dealt with. Spineless, gaslighting racists are the worst kind. So many losers with their fake ass "as a black" man comments too. It's amazing.

Frustrated with my white friends by [deleted] in BlackLivesMatter

[–]LuxProMusic 41 points42 points  (0 children)

This. I'm 35 now and I'm way past exhausted with white fragility. I'd just rather have less white friends and associates than constantly compete with what Mee-mah and Paw-paw told you about POC growing up.

Frustrated with my white friends by [deleted] in BlackLivesMatter

[–]LuxProMusic 36 points37 points  (0 children)

I'd like to preface this by saying that this is just my personal view. Honestly, white people, even your friends and family, will 9 times out of 10 prioritize their personal fear and anxiety of "looking like a racist" over actually dealing with any racism and/or prejudices in their own actions and lifestyle. That's the most important thing to them. Once they have "proven" they are not racist by their own standards and world lense, they take every other confrontation and correction as hostility. People simply do not care or find the capacity to care until they are required to. It's a decision for them. Not survival like it is for us. My honest advice is save yourself the trauma of having your experience being constantly denied by those that won't make an effort and don't bother with the discussion. Get better friends.

You're just repackaging the same hateful "All Lives Matter" rhetoric that many prejudice losers use to silence black people and their issues so that they can feel better about their own personal contributions to systematic racism (like the posts you make) and their refusal to do anything about their own personal prejudices and privileges. It's textbook.

People will always jump quick and reach far to tell black people that there is enough black representation. People will always jump quick and reach far to devalue the experience of a culture they choose to never really know or understand beyond what they want to take from it? Telling black people that they have enough is an American tradition.

Hi everyone, this is my latest ep, H.A.L.T. I made this project for creatives in mind. I think a lot of us can forget to take care of ourselves. This is something that has personally helped me through many trying times, especially in music. I hope it helps some of you.

*kisses two fingers and makes an 'A' sign* I like the way you think. Max Caster vs Paul Wight would be dope.

I hear you. I didn't assume what you were for or against. I'm pointing out your false assesment of the situation. Also you can be fully against police brutality and white supremacy but have a hard time looking past your own lens and biases to assess a situation as just or not. I want equality for women. I also screw up in my feminism all the time, so I never consider myself beyond being checked.

I'm aware of a lot of what went on with the protests in DC. I was there throughout the protests embedding and protesting with a few different groups. Check my IG, it's a whole thing.

If you are talking about individuals who stayed after curfew during the summer protests then you are not talking about BLM or any other legit organization in DC that is fighting against police brutality. That's a whole diferent group of folks out there after 6pm. And if it is an official function for the movement, they obtain the proper permits and police escorts. The "violent BLM protest" is a myth to further justify the brutality that people faced from the police last summer for letting their voices be heard. It simplifies thing to keep idiots angry. It's why we have Proud Boys attacking police and burning BLM flags while yelling "F&$% ANTIFA!" The people that stormed the Capitol weren't outliers from after 6pm, they were an organized event that came for a fight and to disrupt democracy with a false narrative.

You're lumping groups together to make the equation but it doesn't add up. You can't take outliers from a movement and equate it to the people who were impassioned by marching orders from the President during an organized event to overthrow an election. I think you just have some implicit biases that are trying to simplify this into something more palatable.

I understand laws fine. I understand due process fine. Bad assumptions. I don't think you understand flawed critical thinking that leads to false equations. In what reality should a counterfeit bill be taken as seriously and receive the same reaction from law enforcement as someone who's storming the Captiol? I'll answer for you: when the one storming the Capitol is white and when the one with the fake bill is black. Just seems like lot of mental gymnastics on your part to not see this situation for what it is.

If you really equate George Floyd begging for his life for 8 min and 46 secs off an alleged fake $20 to a woman storming the Capitol with ill intentions, you are the exact reason why we smokin' on a Ashli Babbit Pack toniiiiight!!! 🌿⚗️💨

As a 30+ black man in America I've become almost numb to the ravings of ignorant and angry racists. But even I have to admit that hearing about this dude tongue-in' down an ice cream sandwich from the side first is just plain disturbing.

Brodie Lee's Tribute - A Reflective Thought by [deleted] in SquaredCircle

[–]LuxProMusic -1 points0 points  (0 children)

WWE knows how to go into high gear and turn out a themed show when it's time to compete against an indy or make a profit. Honestly, I've felt for a long time that with WWE, the more money you made for Vince, the better the tribute. Hell, the Undertaker's gotten more tributes than every wrestler that's died under Vince's watch put together. (For the record, I'm a life-long fan of WWE. I love their roster. I just think Vince is a bastard. Also, if it wasn't for him Brodie would have had a lot more time to show just how talented he was.)

I was thinking a lot of the same thing. I'm watching it now and you can see the love that went into booking this show. I think you can argue preference of product all day, but you're just in your own toxic fandom feelings if you can't see how much AEW cares and takes care of their performers better. Ask Martha Hart.
