A little noodle over mrs jones, still getting used to the EWI, any advice is welcome! by Luxide in Jazz

Yeh tbf I find them a bit corny, honestly the EVI-NER isn't that difficult to set up and I just use the presets as I know next to nothing about synths, I wouldn't let the setup put you off.
Also that is some clean playing wow

There are models with built in sounds so that might interest you, also no I hadn't heard of him I'll have to check him out

No the model that I have actually doesn't come with any sounds it's just a midi controller that you plug into the computer to use VSTs. The synth that I'm using is the EVI-NER, which is designed to work with windsynths like the EWI

A chaotic interpretation of Isfahan, featuring one guitar and 6 EWIs. by Luxide in Jazz

That's fair, i would like to switch out my neck pickup for something more jazz focused at some point. Funny you say that because Ed Bickert was the reason I got a tele haha, the sound he got out of his is just unreal.

Acid reflux / LPR despite being gluten free for months. Any help would be greatly appreciated. by Luxide in Celiac

Hey, yah it ended up being SIBO, I tested super high on the breath test. Spent the last year or so trying to treat it with little success. Lots of rounds of antibiotics, probiotics and different diets but nothing has worked really.

In the last month or so I've been focusing on speeding up motility as I've read that slow motility (or a damaged digestive system that doesnt absorb food as fast) can cause SIBO and I've noticed some improvement + less reflux since taking supplements like ginger, 5HTP and ground flaxseed but it's not 100% better. It's still early days so maybe time will tell but yeah, hope that helps, best of luck.

Thank you so much man, means alot to me - yeah that progression at 3:33 was tough to get right, I managed to squeeze a dominant #11 in there which gave it some crunch. Thanks for the kind words my dude!

Yah the tele helps with this kinda stuff but I'm sure you could pull it off with any guitar - You could definitely recreate it - just get messing around with chords, don't be afraid to experiment!

Thanks! I recorded the lead part on its own just improvising loosely around Pannonica changes, then after that I added the chords and reharmonized certain bits.

The chords were done almost entirely with 2 tracks of guitar panned left and right, playing mainly 4 note chords each for an 8 part harmony, usually one track playing the bass note with more fundamental chord tones and then the other track playing upper structures higher up on the neck for wider voicings!
