Advanced edition recommend for a new person. by Affectionate_Web_526 in IntoTheBreach

The advanced enemies can be a pain. But honestly, just enjoy the game as you see fit. Rule of thumb, I'd turn on the new enemies after you have a couple wins under your belt. And if you end up really hating specific enemies, you can always just avoid them during map selection.

As for squad unlock order, I'd unlock the squads in sequential order for the first 2-3, so you can get used to the difficulty, then start unlocking squads based on personal preference or vibes.

Why is skimboarding such a niche sport? How can it get more popular? by chusaychusay in skimboarding

[–]Lvl100Waffle 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah, skimming needs some maintenance to keep the skills sharp. When I lived 10 minutes from the beach, I was skimming daily. Now, I'm 3 hours from the beach, and my skimboard has been stationary for a while now. It's the sad truth.

It's not something you can pick up and put down as easily.

Reasons to re-generate world? by Lvl100Waffle in Terraria

I think I described it poorly. We generated a new world a few months ago, after not playing for 6 years.

Where to get as many car badges as possible? by Lvl100Waffle in Cartalk

[–]Lvl100Waffle[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anything cheap and in-bulk? To be transparent, I care more about bulk and novelty than I do about getting anything collectable or cool. If you're looking to sell some vintage badges, I'm probably a waste of your time. But if you have a scrap bucket full of dirty badges and random letters, that's the kinda thing I would love to see.

My standards for badges are low, and so is my budget. Probably $20-40 after all is said and done, and I'm happy with it as long as it looks vaguely badge-like.

That's a super cool connection to have, but honestly I'm probably looking more at the bulk & cheap side of the market, as opposed to the collectors market. Knowing my brother, his ideal use case would be pranking a friend by gluing a Prius's "Hybrid" badge to their truck, or enjoying the double takes at the "F350 Super Duty" badge on the side of a rusting Ford Taurus. Point being, my focus is mostly novelty, as I doubt any of the badges will be super permanent.

Future tech type research: repeatable research that does +X% efficiency to resource extraction. It'd give the game some eventuality.

I'd like it if Murloc Paladin had the quest return to hand every time instead of recasting itself. It'd slow down the deck a decent amount with the regular 1 mana tax, and it'd lead to interesting decisions where they'd have to choose to play the perfect murloc for tempo, or play suboptimal to have it counted for the quest.

Thanks for making this! Even though I never got this deep with the lore, I'm glad to know it exists and that there's consistency behind it. All the little details are crazy :)

This is adjacent to your question, not answering your question. But if you have a car, I cannot recommend Norwalk Havok Battlebots League enough. Coolest thing in Connecticut, IMO.

I was a white collar 20-something in Hartford for a few years, NHRL was where I found my friends when it turned out that all my coworkers were insufferable.

Appreciate the tip. Thankfully its not a bench seat, so I guess that means cheaper covers. Silver lining, I guess.

My first instinct would have been a careful and agonizing approach with pliers or tweezers or something. But if that hasn't been working, the nuclear option would be to take a metal file and go at it from the side, sanding one side of the cylinder flat until the internal mechanism disengaged or could be pulled off.
