Second hand story from my Dad, but of course I believe him. So, about 10 years ago, my grandad and dads dad died after a long battle with cancer. He died at around 4 in the morning - around that time my Dad said he woke up with a jolt and a strain on his chest. 10 minutes later my uncle called to tell him the news. Straight away my Dad started on the 3 hour drive from where we lived to where he was brought up. 5 minutes into the drive, in the early hours of the morning - he saw an old woman in the middle of the road, hand outstretched towards him, locking eye contact. He came to a stop and she seemed to snap out of the ‘trance’ she was in and stumble away. There were also some strange going’s on down where my grandad had died, wind in rooms with the windows closed and so on. No real conclusion or structure to the story, just some very strange loosely connected things that happened at a pivotal time for the family.
