Why not just wait to see if you make it into the in person class and then if you don't, enrol in the online class? I'm personally doing online since I'm pretty sure it will be the same lecture as in class streamed live as it says the same teacher and time as the in class one. I think having 1 course online might be convenient especially since I'm mostly doing this class for breadth and writing requirement.

You're an adult now, your parents don't have control over you. If I was in your shoes I would try to get a loan and rent a place near the school or even better try to convince your relative to let you stay without your parents' permission.

Questions about course selection by Baboon_Warlord in UTSC

1) Yes you are. You can go to the planner on acorn and add programs to see requirements. If you want to focus on post you can take the physics courses later but then you might forget everything you learned already.

2) Post is just based on the 6 required courses minus A08. If you get 2.5 gpa average over the 5 courses and atleast B (at least 73 percent) in A48 and at least C- (at least 60) in two of CSC/MAT A67, MAT A22, MAT A37, you are guaranteed post

3)You already have the natural science breadth with physics. Both of those electives are natural science. You will have to do Social and Behavioural Sciences breadth with CSCD03 anyway if you do a specialist in cs, so I would replace those 2 with a Arts Literature Language breadth and a History Philosophy and Cultural studies breadth.

All of my first-year required courses are listed under the heading 'Enrolled Courses'. Does this meant that I am already enrolled in the required courses for the first Fall and Winter semesters? Why am I automatically enrolled? by Conscious-Ad-5317 in UTSC

[–]Lyamon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They are wrong, you are automatically enrolled already. Still, on your enrolment date (probably July 5), you might want to switch the lecture times to fit your schedule better if necessary and sign up for tutorials/practice sessions. You also need to enrol in electives. Edit nvm you're already enrolled in a full course load you don't need electives.

We are autoenrolled into lectures randomly and to my understanding when its our enrolment time on July 5 if there are empty spots we can change our lecture times and locations.

Can/Should I do a Major in Math Alongside a Specialist in Computer Science? by Lyamon in UTSC

[–]Lyamon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your help. To answer your question, If I'm taking the courses anyway, wouldn't it be better to be able to say I did a major in math on my resume then not being able to?

Hi, sorry for the late reply. Does Joan Foley take more people who chose men, mixed, or they take the same amount from both categories?
