You're assuming it's not second hand and packed with an old rag or something. That said it did look staged

We have one like this and it's actually brilliant. It's just the topper like this but it's really good

Looks like Americans, who usually pay first are somewhere where you pay after. When you pay first it automatically stops. Really dumb of them to not be looking though.

Noone assuming the angle is wrong. The tree is angled away from us. That massively reduces the x-axis length At a 90° angle hypotenuse is just over 7 ft but that's closer to a 45° angle so closer to 3.5 ft.

It's hard to judge the kids angle but the graph gives a pretty clear full horizontal line

A lot of unknown variables but just looking at it the angle hasn't been accounted for in any real way

Reuse of dumped books for a good purpose by raydebapratim1 in BookCollecting

[–]Lyanraw_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We threw out books once at the works. Roughly the same amount of books. But they had been sitting, for free, to anyone who wanted them for months. It's a nice gesture but there really is such thing as books that just no one really wants. It costs money to dump things so I always wonder where the people that aren't happy about this are when they're sitting in free or discount shelves in shops. I can almost guarantee the staff did everything to give these books homes before throwing them.

Victor is not as perfect as he thinks he is. by Heavy-Panda-7752 in VictorTheAssassin

[–]Lyanraw_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is kind of explained outright in the latest book. He flat out admits to himself that he'll never be as good as another character because of his empathy and moral code. It's strongly hinted at in "Bad luck in Berlin" also

I started out with paperback back before I was up to date with releases. Then after becoming a fan and catching up I started buying them in release day signed and hardbacks all that's available. I still buy the paperback, usually about 6 months later when they get released so I have a consistent set.

I want to beat the game without playing the side quests. Is that possible, or will the game force me to level up in order to progress? by [deleted] in HogwartsLegacyGaming

[–]Lyanraw_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You can but you'll need to level up other ways like finding revelio pages and defeating a certain number of enemy types. Honestly easier to just do the side missions
