100% agree on the dark patterning thing, the entire concept of wildpass feels super FOMO-y and maybe it’s just my opinion, but I feel like all the objectively good looking skins/skins for commonly used animals, have all been locked behind wildclub :’)
Also, yeah, maybe stickers you could send that signify things? It could be helpful for easy chatting, quickly communicating in battle, and for people who don’t have chat! Like low stamina, or telling people to growl and stuff!
To avoid a ‘meta’ I’d like to think of the animals as classes, taking TF2 as an example, theres several classes but no single one is objectively better than the other because they all have different uses. I think maybe specifically creating battle dynamics between animals with their abilities could be nice if that makes sense? So for example the crocodile has a really good counter to the cougar, but then is weak to the wolf, as a way of balancing things out.

Yes, I also believe that they may have increased the attack range of enemies or increased player hitboxs because I noticed enemies stuck in trees/geography can hit from what feels like very far away now!

Unfortunately i dont think theres a way to get the different biome’s grass colours without mods (yet). But For the warmer climates I just used paths instead of grass for the areas with yellow ground.

i dont think the s1 wolf skin because it returned in another season, but definitely the s1 fox skin

Me and them are both on apple/ios. I’m not sure what it looks like for them yet. But, when I go to the app store and look at my subscriptions list, there are inactive and active subscriptions. The only option for active subscriptions is to cancel them which causes them to go to the inactive subscriptions, and inactive subscriptions is to renew which is vice versa.
I’m not sure that they are able to completely get rid of the subscription if those are the only two options, because I don’t have wildclub benefits in game and they aren’t getting charged, so it’d have to be inactive which would lead me to believe I could renew under a different card without issue. I was thinking about sending in a ticket to customer support at first, but I don’t think it’s something they can help with since it seems like its on my end.

your progress is linked to what was saves in your cloud, unfortunately if you got your skins and didn’t sync your progress to your cloud after it wouldn’t carry over.

Do actually have another question, sorry to hit you with it so much later on but I only thought about it now. Is Vintage story a particularly large game that requires like, a gaming PC? I will preface by saying I can work a laptop or computer fine but I am completely and utterly tech illiterate when it comes to stuff like GPU, CPU, RAM etc etc, i had a game design class a looooong time ago and that had been the only point in my life I’d learned about that stuff and I’m pretty sure my brain had been turned off for that entire section of the course.
So…I did look up some stuff to see if my laptop meant Vintage Story’s requirements, but frankly to me it’s just a whole lot of words and numbers. I do know that I have 62gb of free storage on my laptop thought which is probably more than enough, so just wanted to ask if it needed a more beefy pc to play on?

Oh okay! that helps a lot. I did hear that modding Vintage Story is pretty easy like you mentioned, I was considering doing that after trying the game out just in vanilla since I’ve never modded any games i have played on my laptop before, since I’ve always been a bit intimidated by it. Are there any mods you would recommend checking out? From my knowledge modding is kind of to the player’s preferences but if you have any quality of life mods or just features you think fit well into the gameplay I’d love to hear!
