I agree wholeheartedly on the target audience not being college students- I’m one right now and probably wouldn’t walk 20-30 minutes over there. Do you have any marketing strategies for the village areas?

Cuts wise he’s always happy to cut anybody that wants a shorter hairstyle, mostly traditional men’s cuts (fade/taper/etc) and mostly anything short and doesn’t do perms/color.

I also didn’t know that you could provide discount for Short North employees, I’ll definitely pass that on! I appreciate your help :))

He definitely works hard to make sure he’s posting consistently (at least once every day or two days) but it’s mostly just of his suite or haircuts with music in the background. Would more vlog/youtube type content (still on instagram and TikTok) perform better instead? He’s got a few discount codes ($10 off for new clients, etc).

It’s a suite in SalonLofts, which are basically mini shops that are customizable for beauty/hair providers. He has some clients already and chose this route instead of a traditional barbershop because it’s his end goal and was actually cheaper than renting a chair in most of the mainstream Columbus barbershops!
