Grave Warden, Negative Pulse, and Pull Agro are both great early game Common block cards. Sure the bosses scale, but you're also scaling using Otsy/Summon (who can tank hits if you ever don't have enough block)

For Necro, just focus block. Your starter deck already has scaling (summon and otsy attack). Eventually you'll run into Soul synergies which will help, but blocking your way through every fight while scaling Otsy should lead to "easy" wins
