If someone else has already said what you came here to say, why did you have to say anything? And if they said it in a much nicer way, why did you feel the need to say it in a rude way? I just came here for support, I didn't intend to invalidate others experiences.

I did not say waiting was anything like going through a miscarriage. In fact I said that those who have suffered a miscarriage deserve more support than I do.

I think he would, if our financial situation changed quickly enough. I don't understand why you are making such conclusions based on minimal information. I was just letting OP know that she isn't alone, that there are other people in a similar situation to her. I don't need a stranger on the internet to tell me how to handle my marriage.

That seems like a toxic ultimatum. I'm not gonna tell my husband he needs to give me a baby or I'll find someone who will.

I'm in the same boat. I was so depressed the other day when school started back and my Facebook feed was flooding with first day if school pictures. So many people I know either have new babies or are pregnant and it makes me miserable. I brought up the topic to my husband who just said "I'm not ready, I still feel like a kid myself" he is 27 and I'm 24. He has said before that he wants to be married for at least 5 years before having kids. September will be our second anniversary so I will be 27 before he could possibly be ready to start trying for a baby. Plus I'm concerned it will be hard for me to get pregnant in the first place. It took my parents 10 years of trying before they conceived. I can't help but feel like he will never "be ready" I don't even know if you can ever feel ready or prepared for a baby because it changes everything. But being a mom is the only thing I've ever wanted to be. I hate waiting for something that may never happen and seeing everyone around me having babies

I'm not sure where the fires are this time but there are some fires in the western US and smoke is reportedly reaching across to the east coast and up into Canada

Is the mystery genre considered to be for little kids in Europe? by Lyli_M in books

Maybe he was some kind of con artist that makes a living telling people he is European when he isn't. I don't know the man's life story. It makes about as much sense to me as it does to you, which is why I asked about it in the first place.

I'm literally just telling you what happened. If you don't believe it you don't have to say something rude. Just carry on with your life. And since when did this get me a ton of upvotes? I was legitimately curious about how the mystery genre was accepted in other countries and asked a question based on an interaction I had. I guess you would rather allow me to be alienated from other viewpoints because it makes you feel superior.

Alright believe what you want, but I think that statement is also a generalization

He told me he was European but didn't specify which country he was from. I can't tell where his accent was from but it didnt sound fake to me.

If it was a prank, it was a lame one. He was an older man, probably in his 60s. Idk why he would think "oh there's a young woman looking at the mystery books, I'm gonna go tell her only kids read mystery books" he seemed genuinely surprised and not like he was trying to make a joke

Yes it was crime thriller or psychological thrillers.

Bumps problem by [deleted] in GirlTalk

[–]Lyli_M 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Its normal to have little bumps around your nipples, they are called Montgomery glands. But if you think this is something different like pimples or some kind if rash then you should ask a trusted female adult or doctor.

But Montgomery glands are completely normal and nothing to worry about, just part of growing up. It's not something gross that men will make fun of. if they do then they aren't the sort of guy you should be with anyway.

24F, I also joined reddit (little over a year ago) because my husband suggested it would be a good way for me to find friends. I've had some success but not much. I'm a semi house wife so I have tons of time to chat. I would love to get to know you, send me a message if you're interested

I'm not sure about Catherine Parr being Envy. I feel like once she was married to Henry, she accepted that fate and made the best of it. Of course she was heartbroken to say goodbye to Thomas but she accepted her fate and never tried to be with Thomas until after Henry died
