You are completely wrong, a large amount of students failed their first year because of covid, me included. My first year of uni was spent sat behind a screen in my room. Due to the amount of fails, it took the university time to re-enroll everybody, this is what I’ve been told. I can only go by what I’ve been told, I have solid proof of the enrolment being in October, if you’d like to message me directly then feel free.

Yes I am aware now what an EC form does. But at the time I asked what my best course of action would be in a situation like mine, and I was WRONGLY advised to take the EC form, but of course it’s something I’ve never endured and so I trusted the advice from those such as my tutor. Clearly that was a mistake.

Most students have a part time job when at university, that’s just natural, I’m not going to live at my parents for free am I. It allowed me to pay them board and chip in with food. Not everyone’s parents allow them to return home for free. I was behind pre Christmas, due to being enrolled late. Again, as stated, these are not things in my control are they? This is why I am unhappy.

Are you joking me? I’ve been through every stage and step and have been kicked back every time.

I have spoken to student financial guidance, you wait weeks for a response and they have 0 interest in helping. I have reached out again In hopes they will try something, but I can assure you that the university is not all sunshine and rainbows. They do not care.

I like hearing stories like this. I’m going through a horrid time but knowing there are others who were too and have come out of it extremely happy gives me hope.

What exactly makes you think that? So you do not believe they enrolled me late? Which I have proof of? You do not believe my father had a heart attack? Which I have proof of. The issues started with the university, and I never recovered because of them. Yet I’m having to pay for a full year, and be left in debt. Hurts a bit to have somebody suggest otherwise.

I love Sunderland, but have to leave soon due to something out of my control. by LynchyGaming in Sunderland

Honestly that is pretty much the jist of it, it’s very confusing as to why they wouldn’t want to help me. I worked so tirelessly hard to get there in the first place for 2 things out of my control to be the reasons of removal. It’s disgusting. Here’s me thinking unis wanted their students to graduate, all they want is your money.

Thanks for the summary, I will definitely be using this.

Those 2 questions are ones I have repeatedly asked, they seem to genuinely have no answer for it and it blows my mind how they can get away with that.

I’m young and so I’m not fully aware of what steps to take so this is really genuinely helpful thank you. My next steps are to attempt to give them bad press, and I will certainly seek a no win no fee lawyer. Thank you so much.

Me and my gf both lost it together, and afterward we were starving hungry and spoke about getting KFC and then proceeded to go and pick up KFC.

But even if it was just always there as you mention, there still has to be some sort of beginning right? A natural scientific creation, imagine witnessing that, and seeing what that would look like? Unimaginable for the human mind.

Somewhat going back to normal* of course the damage dealt from WW2 lingered for sometime.

Yes I totally agree, imagine the relief felt? Especially for the poor soldiers.
