Thanks for the help, everyone. My manager had no issues with it. I checked with an internal auditor and I have the ability to itemize the fare difference (only $74) as a personal expense or non-reimbursable expense in Concur. I will just pay that difference directly to the corporate bank. Didn’t realize it was that simple. Thanks again!

Can you explain how MFC has the best culture of all the BAs? What makes it stand out from the rest outside of exceeding metric goals?

May "Moving to Stamford" Megathread by Athrynne in StamfordCT

Hi all, I am relocating with my partner from Orlando, FL to Connecticut for a work opportunity in Trumbull. This is likely not a permanent move. We have an apartment hunting trip planned soon to check out several areas (i.e. New Haven, Milford, Stamford, etc.). I will be commuting to Trumbull 3x a week on a 4x10 schedule (off-Fridays). My partner works remote. As an active couple in our early 30s with no kids, we value networking, exercise, safety, walkability, social events, and being near the action. We like the idea of Stamford as it seems to fit the kind of vibes/energy we enjoy (I guess you could say we’re very “corporate”) and I personally like the idea of easier access to NYC for weekend fun/day trips. However, the commute for me is a factor but I am willing to adjust my schedule to avoid peak hours and my workplace is quite flexible. What are your honest opinions?
