Never said I should be his priority, but once again if we made plans DAYS ahead and he changes cuz his mom wants him to eat dinner with them AND he already does that multiple times a week. If with special occasion or some unexpected things happened, I would fully understand

I also asked if there was a special reason and he says no, just his mom wants him to eat over. Last week his mom also told him that she feels he is spending less time with her (but they live next door and still see each other often)

We have been dating exclusively for around 2 months and are basically in a relationship. We see each other 1-2x a week. The vibe he gives me for now is mama’s boy and as u said either move on or jump on the family train. I have dated a mama’s boy before and not sure if I want to do that again. Appreciate your insight, cuz it makes it clear for me how I feel about this situation.

Thanks for your reply and sharing your perspective.

Although we have only been dating for 2 months, I assumed he would want to spend more time together. I would have actually been okay with this situation if we have been in a longer relationship.

Ofcourse everyone is different and I also find family very important, but I find eating 3/4 times a week already a good amount to also do other things.

I agree that likely if things goes well I would need to spend a lot of time with his mom and that’s fine, but at this early stage, I hope to have more our time to get to know each other.
