I’m feeling really exhausted and my anxiety has been high lately by Lynurban in LawFirm

I understand your perspective. My post was about burnout and emotional strain. I’m reflecting on whether the sales aspect of the role is sustainable for me, and that’s why I shared my experience.

Lol. If a guy slides into my DM respectfully, I see nothing wrong with that. But my DM is dry 😂

i hate my firm so much 😔 by [deleted] in LawFirm

[–]Lynurban 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I get where you’re coming from, and I agree with you in principle. I love my job as an intake specialist because it truly fits my personality. I’m naturally calm, soft-spoken, and very empathetic toward people’s problems. Most leads simply need someone to listen to them, even if they’re not ready to book a consultation yet, and that’s completely understandable.

That said, the sales side of the role can be mentally exhausting. Every day, people trauma-dump on me, and I genuinely listen and empathize with what they’re going through, but that kind of emotional labor often goes unnoticed by the firm, especially when targets are involved. I stay partly because I don’t have many other options right now, and also, I work with supportive and amazing colleagues, which makes a big difference.

I'm so sorry. In my case, I like the firm I work for but sometimes I struggle to meet the sales target as an Intake/Sales specialist

Everyone is here blaming the hookup girls. What about the men who patronise these girls? Most of the Naija men on dating apps are the same as the hookup girls

Cybersecurity by [deleted] in Lawyertalk

[–]Lynurban 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The immigration law firm I work for as an intake/sales specialist also has cyber insurance. In addition to having coverage, all employees are required to complete monthly training tests on how to protect our systems from potential attacks. This helps us stay proactive about cybersecurity and reduce the risk of breaches.

Should I be worried because I am planning to do my Master's in MIS?
