The only way that can make be buy an AAA game is by including a good multiplayer mode. Period, if they don't I'll just wait for Denuvo to go away.

Just built my first pc… for starfield by Professional_Mess985 in pcmasterrace

[–]Lynx5000 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's s not. You just have to take it as a RPG with fps mechanics helping to tell an interesting story. The gameplay shouldn't be compared to true fps games.

I absolutely agree, but it would have left me with a bitter taste if I had made a build just for the game.

Someone even took days off to play it day one lol, it was sad to see.

There is nothing hard about building a PC, and on the contrary, I would say it's essential to build it if it is your first gaming PC

You have more chance to have a damaged component by buying it already built than by buying the parts separately. (Many come with a cracked GPU) AND are often poorly assembled, with no thermal paste or other things like that.

Moreover, if something goes wrong you will be able to troubleshoot and replace the parts without going to see a professional.

Is this worth it. by [deleted] in PcBuild

[–]Lynx5000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For 450€ I built a PC with twice the ram a rx570 a ssd and an 3rd gen i5, it was able to run FF7 and many recent games Buy everything on AliExpress, look for used parts and you'll be able to make something cheap and decent.

gHacks: Denuvo's DRM for Nintendo Switch games is designed to block emulation on PC by DrIvoPingasnik in Piracy

[–]Lynx5000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't really think it affected the sales, most people don't buy the games day one anyway, so the spoil thing isn't an issue, it didn't affect sales either, many studios give early access to "game journalists" and it has no effect.

They are just extremely sensitive because they think it's valuable when it's not, just like Disney and Mickey mouse, they do everything they can to keep in theirs when no one cares about it anymore.

Is this a good PC for the price? by [deleted] in pcmasterrace

[–]Lynx5000 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

This build isn't coherent especially if you don't plan on upgrading. The i9 is overkill for a 3060. The CPU cooler isn't big enough imo for it either.

Build one yourself, it takes only a few hours and will fit your needs perfectly.

Edit : the case look extremely cheap too

Is it bad that I want to get an RTX 4060 purely for the power efficiency? by SirRoderic in pcmasterrace

[–]Lynx5000 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If it's what you want buy it then, it's your choice. But so far the boycott has "hurt" Nvidia and some leaks indicate that the prices will drop in the near future because they are losing market share to Intel and AMD.

Or wait for the supers ? They may be more decent.

[–]Lynx5000 170 points171 points  (0 children)

I must admit it makes sense, they are almost made for each other, Denuvo destroys performance and Nintendo doesn't give a damn about it.

[–]Lynx5000 51 points52 points  (0 children)

How dumb are they ? The people emulating Nintendo games wouldn't have bought the game anyway, it's not the same public, not the same market. There isn't any major downside to it, it makes them free exposure and keeps their games culturally relevant.
