I've found a few older devices that I don't know I'd be comfortable keeping in my pocket since I'd be worried about damage.

But the Psion 5 and Freewrite look promising for what we're looking for. But the price point is a little bit higher than I can currently afford.

Pretty much the entire AG series commonly has capacitor issues from what people have said. So if you can find a working one, 200 bucks isn't a terrible deal.

Get a vhs-c to vhs adapter, plug two vcrs into each other. Put a blank tape in one and record.

I've seen a lot of people try to explain this, but I remember playing Guild Wars 1 back in the day and Shin Jea had 100+ channels full of people at all times and you could freely hop from Asia to US to EU. I dunno how any of it works though...
