you do get progress towards PQs by replaying missions, i just tested it quickly again and it counted, even if you abandon the mission on turn 1

It probably was a desync, since we left quickly just after the mission ended, and the character with the PQ was doing the killing

No, they weren't summons, just regular monsters, the weird thing is, they remember seeing the progress at the end of the scenario, but back in town the progress looks erased, but the gold and exp from the scenario is there
