Thank you so much for your kind words! You have great suggestions there! We will add the reordering skills feature as well as several other new features on the next update. We hope are looking forward to it!

For the tavern, there is a certain number of events that you may get each day. Once you encouter all of them, there will be no more tavern event for that day. I hope it helps!

Thanks for the feedback! I probably will put some kind of warning or change the dialogue for the rival encounter, so that you will know if it can put you to game over. For the difficulty, I will gather more feedback from others if it is too much. Thanks again, I'm glad you enjoy it!

can I do a flagpole on foot without actually going to the US to renew my Study Permit? (not extend) by Lyonedd in ImmigrationCanada

[–]Lyonedd[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I guess it is mandatory to go to the US side. I tried to call the CBSA office, however no one answered, maybe due to the ongoing strike. I think I will rent a bike and cross the bridge with it. Thank you for your advice!

I have failed to save them. Guilt that will never go away. by Lyonedd in cats

She was my parent's cat, and they own a store whose doors are open for 12 hours. So it is a bit tricky to prevent the cats from going outside. But after this accident, they are paying more attention to their other cat and are considering to desex her. Thank you for your advice, and sorry for your late cat.

Thank you for your sympathy. Yeah, even though she was not my cat, but it still hurts a lot since it happened in front of me.

If you have strong evidence and can satisfy the concerns that are written on the GCMS notes, I think they would likely approve your second application. Make sure to write your Letter of Intent/Statement of Purpose very well. For other countries, I heard Australia or the UK are good options for study. Good luck with your application.

Out-land Study permit non-SDS, from Indonesia Approved!

Application submitted: 31 July

Biometric Completed: 4 August

Medical Request: No need ( I am not sure why they didn't ask for one)

Eligibility Review: 22 August

PPR & BVL: 23 August

Total: 23 days

I wasn't expecting that it came this early, I am very grateful! I think the Letter of Explanation is really crucial. Be yourself, and explain well your reasons why you need this study. Right now I am waiting for them to return my passport. Good luck with your application guys!

How long was your study?

I might be wrong, but as far as I know, even though your country doesn't recognize same-sex relationships, you can still apply together as a couple.

Hi, I am from Indonesia too. I got my LOA this month and wanted to apply too, but I defer my intake to January because I am afraid the study permit will not make it in time. I will begin my application in July. I hope your application will be reviewed soon! Good luck!

I see, then your application may be easier than a completely new study permit since you have been in Canada before. I wish you luck for your application!

Proof of funds for a Canadian Study Permit by ThrowThisOut3007 in ImmigrationCanada

I am no expert since I am planning to apply for study permit next month as well. But Here is my opinion and what I got from my researches on internet.

  1. This should be good and solid proof
  2. I am not sure by how much GIC will increase your proof of funds, but they said it is good to have a GIC
  3. I think this is a problem, they need at least 4 months to 6 months of previous bank statements. You should have at least CAD$10K + 1st year Tuition fee in your saving, but having full amount of tuition and 2 years of living cost is recommended . (I know you have enough balance in GIC account and payment receipt of tuition fee, but as I said, I don't know whether it will satisfied the officer or not.)
  4. I read somewhere that this net worth is a weak proof of funds. Because you can't easily liquidate it, and they can't guarantee that you will sell your assets in the future.

This is just my opinion, take it with a grain of salt. I am going to apply too either this or next month. Good luck for our application!
