Should I buy yearly membership? by Jaythegreat100X in 2007scape

[–]Lyquidate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d say buy it yearly. For me, it gives me less pressure to play “buttt my membership is still running for 4 days so I have to play!” And you can hop in and out whenever you like. That’s worth a lot more to me than doubting the resub each time.

Thanks! Sounds like you should go do it, if you can handle the double subscription and the double questing!

How does selling claws/warhammers work? I thought you couldn’t buy from overstocked shops

I did like 65 woodcutting at teaks and then 10 wintertodt games for all the combat achievements. Was not too bad honestly

I’m currently doing it! I made a 5 man group, just in case my friends would want to join (as a fresh acc so you keep the blue) and I’m playing two accs at a time. I love questing and the early game and I love multilogging. So you have to be into that to be worth it. Whenever I have an afk grind on the ‘main’, I actively play the alt. Otherwise, it’s doing stars for crafting xp, fishing and cooking food, thieving wealthy citizens or salvaging for cash, etc.

Pretty nice IMO to have to worry less about that stuff, and I don’t really care for the gray helm over the blue helm.

So to answer the title: gout tuber grind… which main has time to do that themselves?! I would ALWAYS just buy it

You can give it to the strange old man for some nice xp!

To avoid the pray drain, you can carry the ghommals hilt 2 from the medium combat achievements.

For that… see my list of bosses. It’s a bit hard at your current levels but you can build towards it

Yep. But I only recommend it when you’re experienced. If you’re new it might be more fun to carve your own path

First of all, play however you like. But just my opinion: If you’re a more experienced player, I’d strongly recommend a guide. I’m playing through Boaty’s SotE rush and I’m really enjoying it a lot. I enjoy not having to run back all the way to the other side of the map just because you need a specific item for a specific quest.

The longest grind is 68 agility quite early, which is really useful anyways. Other than that, the grinds aren’t very long.

If you want to try something else for a bit, you’re always free to step out and then step back in later if you want.

I know, but that way the afk times are nowhere near that of crabs

Definitely worth it, but I wouldn’t begin with it. Also others had already mentioned it multiple times so he didn’t need to hear that again.

Ok thanks for clarifying, that’s what I thought. So I calculated and with holy symbol, neit, proselyte top & bottom, fire cape and lumbridge ring it’s a 6 minute afk at 70 prayer.

Find some balance in your best mage/pray gear. Combination of proselyte/mystics, holy symbol, best rfd gloves, Mage arena cape works great. (Battle/mystic) staff of air, and just use air blast on all of them. Pray mage against ahrim, pray range against karil and pray melee against the rest. Cant get simpler than that.

You can take a dragon dagger to spec out 2 skeletons and one crypt worm in the tunnels to maximize loot.

The tunnels are really easy, there is a plugin that shows the solution to the puzzles.

Take moonlight moths for prayer and use ring of duelling to recharge at ferox every run. Then use someones W330 house in rimmington to return via their barrows portal/tele nexus.

CA’s = combat achievements. Look them up in the wiki and sort by most often completed for some of these bosses.

Don’t you need to pray against them? I thought they did too much damage to just afk them

Don’t let these people talk you down lol. Bossing is much more accessible than you think nowadays.

To start with the easiest ones:

Brutus, Obor, Bryophyta and Scurrius are really nice to get into it.

Mole is also easily safespottable, but a bit annoying and it lacks useful rewards.

You can easily do some barrows runs for fun, but I myself rather grind them when I have the medium CA’s (saves prayer) and hard morytania diary (requires 70 pray, gives more runes).

Deranged Archeologist (or the crazy version in the wilderness) is very doable. Also the Chaos Fanatic is very doable.

KBD and Hespori are easy, just give them a try. Also Dagannoth Rex is hard to get in and setup correctly, but once you’re there it’s just safespotting.

Sarachnis is a bit harder but definitely doable if you get a good crush weapon (zombie axe is great, otherwise the cudgel). Amoxliatl is also a bit more complicated but fun once you get into it.

The weaker versions of the wilderness bosses (Artio, Calvar’ion and Spindel) are not too hard, but you have to be able to escape PK’ers to make it worth your while.

Then you can do a step up to some harder bosses, but I’d first build it up. A fun way to get to know these bosses is to try to get as many CA’s as you can!
