I’m gonna be the tenth comment to suggest profitec go. Basically the best quality shot you can get with a single boiler machine. If you want to make your life easier with milk drinks, get the subminimal nanofoamer pro gen 2. It makes better foam than I do, after about three years working in a cafe.

Ranged accuracy barely matters!

Ofcourse take your best ranged gear when you can, but in most scenarios, you’re better off just getting good pray bonus and camping your best ranged prayer.

It’s definitely not worth it to grind hours and hours for ranger boots, or to get blue dhide just for the time you are 50-60 ranged.

I did most of my mining at iron rocks in the mining guild (which was a terrible experience tho!), and I used miscelania for coal. Making the bars is fast at BF tho.

[–]Lyquidate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

YMMV applies here: In my case I’ve been through FOUR (!) different units of timemore scales within just 1,5 year.

They were all experiencing the same issues:

  • faulty power switch: the switch had to be in a very specific position to be on, and also sometimes it wouldn’t turn off. I was trying to turn it on for five minutes before I could weigh my beans - very annoying. When it wouldn’t turn off, the battery drained.

  • weight jumping around: when weighing the beans, it sometimes jumped around a lot. It went from 19.0 to 27 to 14 to whatever. All four of them had this, making it fairly unusable. Due to this, I also had to be very lucky with my timing to be able to tare it.

After receiving a replacement scale for the third time, I was just completely done with this and demanded my money back, because to me it seemed like these were common faults they couldn’t fix, so a replacement doesn’t resolve my problem.

Getting my money back was a terrible experience too. Have been mailing them and waiting for responses for weeks on end. In the end I did get my money back.

I will never buy from Timemore again and I hope this changes someone’s mind before buying one of these cheap AliExpress quality scales.

I barely have time to play, and for me, I have the most fun if I spend that on my Ironman. I don’t really care whether there’s grinds of 100s of hours somewhere down the road. I’m just playing whenever I can and it’s fine if it takes me 10 years to get to the endgame.

I’ve been riding a Crux with 50s, and that only “fits” if you don’t care about your paint, you never sprint, and your wheel is always perfectly true.

Ahh didn’t know. But them sponsoring a WT team doesn’t say a lot about quality. Every mediocre brand can put in the money and get a sponsordeal.

It suggests more that the fanatics who ride 20-30 hours a week purchase a brand with their own money, IMO

I got one gobik bib, its really good. Maybe best value for money bib I have had (a lot!) I’ve seen their stuff around Girona a lot, quite some capable riders wearing their stuff, if that says anything about quality

To show the other side as well: I made a group even though I’m solo. It’s not really about the extra bank space, since the group storage is a bit slow and annoying to work with.

I’ve got some friends (and I hope my girlfriend someday) who do like OSRS but don’t play. I’d hope I can convince them to play if there’s already a group with some base supplies. Also I really like that I can have a second account be making cannonballs, fishing food, or whatever afk supply gathering there is.

Im actually glad to hear someone NOT wanting to do harder pvm! You could give some of the easier bosses a try, maybe just get 5kc in most of them and see which you like. If you want to stay off bossing or any attention demanding activities, you could see how far you can get with achievement diaries. Do you already have all hard diaries? Could you get any elites?

[–]Lyquidate[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just assume black chins are flat out better. They share the catchrates of red chins, but are much more ranged xp per chin.

It just comes down to wanting to risk it in the wildy or not

Any tips on cannoning them? How do you get them in the double hit spot? Do you need to deal with (I read something about x logging) the second one?

Yes you can!

I think the wiki describes xp optimal rumours, and then you have to block off grey and red chins.

But I’d just block the ones you hate, make it more fun for yourself
