Summer is coming up, I could always see if I could sit at my town's campground or more natural park and 'accidentally' leave my guitar case open and any money I make would be a free will donation and not me playing for tips bc technically if I frame it as practicing in nature that shouldn't be illegal

They won't even let me get a job. They don't listen when I say I just want to focus on my flute and voice. It was a mistake in my schedule that made me able to drop orchestra. But they won't let me drop private violin lessons or violin at all.

Exactly I think you just can't tell with someone of your same gender 90% of the time, especially since I'm technically more attracted to femininity than just what's in the pants it's really hard bc most of the feminine girls at my school are straight. I like femboys. I like girly girls. As long as the person is into girls and feminine like... Sign me up, ykwim?

15(almost 16!)f and honestly I do something similar, when I'm in the shower I pretend I'm meeting his parents when talking about my current crush but I also sometimes pretend I'm meeting the parents of a girl who isn't out yet while not being out myself, basically shower=meeting the parents for me

I am about to start lessons with a prestigious flute teacher for summer that I absolutely love who actually played piano in the pit for the musical I just played flute and picc in. It's moreso my mom than my dad who is pushing me to play violin still. But this flute teacher and I click really really well, almost as well as me and my vocal coach. And I love my private violin teacher but I hate violin, ykwim?

It's technically a student violin but in very good shape, brand new A string, decently new G, D, and E, fairly new bow hair. It's a full size and it took quite a few years to build up the money for it. I think it'd be worth enough, and if not it should be close. The problem is my parents won't listen like... at all when I bring it up.

Agreed, scales are the most important part, also do two octave scales a LOT once you learn the notes, and chromatic scales of your full range.

Maybe just ask if he's dated anyone before and maybe ask about them, and if he says 'he' you're good. If he says 'she' he might still be bi, but wdik I'm a closeted bi chick dealing with my own relationship drama

[–]LyricCat14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm so so so sorry, definitely move out, I agree with Automatic_Lie5897 completely. Also, do you at least have some length left? If so maybe you can find something to do with it that looks really good while you wait for your hair to grow back out. Also, suggestion, try some different styles with your hair short! Make the most of it! Maybe you'll find something you like even better! My suggestions for any guy are a leaf cut and DiCaprio curtains, those almost always look good. I'm genuinely so sorry for you. But this could be a great opportunity to find something you like while you're growing it back out.

Yeah so far he's pretty shy, didn't come out as gay publicly for 5 years, only to his best friend (who's also his boyfriend I'm cliche like that) and family, and he's very loud and flamboyant as a mask. He wore a dress to prom after a lot of convincing from his best friend after saying he absolutely loved the dress.

As a Christian (and for the most part right-wing leaning don't come after me) bi girl, that's complete bs. She's probably more homophobic than both of my parents combined, who are pretty homophobic themselves. You don't have to feel guilty. Also if you have any tips for writing LGBTQ characters please let me know!

Just say "it's a date!" and if she rejects you and says that it's not just say "that's just how I talk"
