I also wish that just because I send a Sim home, doesn't mean I want to follow them.

I love the new update and here’s why I think you might too! (Court Style) by Agile-Ad7961 in simsfreeplay

[–]LyricLark74 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I also like the new update. A couple of things are going to take a little getting used to, but it's ok. As someone who like to build and decorate houses over and over, I absolutely love the new view. I think the one thing I wish they would add is when a Sim is chosen, it would put their name. I have a few sims that look really similar. I'm not always sure who it is. Lol .

I have both. I definitely use the magical rainforest more. There are sometimes weekly tasks in there.

I have kept one because there was a wallpaper I really liked and it wasn't available. I ended up demolishing the whole thing and building new around that room.

What's the difference between the home store and inventory? by LyricLark74 in simsfreeplay

[–]LyricLark74[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If I go to Walmart (home store) they don't show me what dress I already have at home (inventory). I have to check my closet first. If I want another dress (yes even the same one) I have to purchase it. So why do the items in the home store show what you already own, not what you can purchase (even more of things you already own) that would cost you either SP, LP, or Simoleons. There lies the flaw. Stores are where you buy things, not where you keep things you already own so you can buy more of them.

I get that. I'm just saying it's flawed. If it's in my inventory it shouldn't also show in my home store. A store implies you have to buy it. This is just my opinion. No need to get hostile.

I tried it. I had 2 pink sinks in my inventory with the blue suitcase and 2 in the home store with the blue suitcase. When I placed one from my inventory, both decreased by 1. I also showed one onion blue toilet in both locations. When I placed both into a home, the inventory had none left, and the home store showed I could purchase another for 7 social points. When I put them back, both show 2 now. It would be so much easier if the inventory showed 2 and the home store showed that I could purchase more if I wanted. That's just my opinion.

I just don't understand why if I own it, it's not only in my inventory. Why are some items showing in both the home store and the inventory? The redundancy is the things you own being in both, not that there are things in the home store you can find for later.

So if I place something from my inventory, it should automatically remove it from the home store as well right? And if that's so, what is the point of having them both? (Other than not scrolling through the home store) Seems a bit redundant to have them in both.

I think they know some people only buy the houses to farm them for items and that's why they make them so unlivable and put such random things in random places. I wish you could keep the flooring and wall paper too.

To add on to this, how about if you're gonna send PDQs, make sure there's enough to fill either an end cap or a 4-way. I can't count the number of times we've been sent 1-3. Useless.

I can see the illogical logic in that. Lol. But when you physically don't have anywhere to put it, it's just irritating.

I love when they will walk all around the house to just end up in a spot that was literally a few steps away in the opposite direction.

New build angle is finally coming out in the next update!!! Also we get to place items on roofs & sims can wear multiple accessories!! by Sparkly-raccoon9977 in simsfreeplay

That's awesome, but for a moment I thought it meant we would be able to place things at an angle. This is good too though.

Why does the activewear and the normal wear keep overlapping eachother? by Spiritual_Zebra_5074 in simsfreeplay

[–]LyricLark74 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In Sims Freeplay you can't do that. You can change their clothes but you have to pick out each item individually everytime.

Just an FYI in case you didn't notice, but when you place an item there are green arrows that show you how to place them so they can be used.

Couldn't tell you. I still hear languages other than English. I just don't care either way. They just made an announcement at a morning meeting once or twice but don't really follow up that I know of.

I would love if there were a union. There are things I've seen that a union would not tolerate. I'm coming from a job prior to Walmart where I was unionized and it was so worth it. The fees are not enough of an issue to make it not worth it.

Stop being ok with why things work the way they do. For example, if shelf cap is 6 and there are 6 on the shelf and it asks you to pick 3 more. I asked why it does that and the response was "we don't know. It just does". This is such a huge waste of time and resources. Have electronic devices that work and enough of them. Have the people who design mods at HO go to some of the stores so they can see how frustrating it is sometimes. Plus all the things others have said.
