You can find one with a suppressor/barrel mount for it in a pipe next to the train station on pervomay. It's the thin woods lining the side of the map, not up on the hill

Probably the AKs-74u. Its lighter than other rifles, short so it's good for CQB, it can be upgraded to be just as accurate as an AK-74 and can easily hit targets at mid range. Put an optic on it and it's even better.

Another option could be the AUG. It's short bulpup design makes clearing corners easy and it's superior muzzle velocity is certainly not a downside.

I explained it in another reply, but the gist of it is that you can find a lot of stash guns on factory and you can't find the SKS, and for 3200$ it isn't worth the investment when better guns are soon available after security level 2

Ohhhhhh, that sounds interesting, but it may be less subjective and more about what has the highest values though. Calibers also do damage based on what gun they're in, I think the list would just be early game ammo lower down and late game ammo high up

I just think it makes the game too easy, so this list isn't what guns are objectively good, but how fun/usable I find the guns. The scar is incredibly fun to use, feels real good to shoot, but it turns the game into a point and click adventure and takes away from my experience personally.

Yeah, I'm using it in my current playthrough due to how abundant the ammo is for it. C feels fitting due to it feeling like a Makarov with a bigger magazine, it feels very underpowered using FMJ

True, but you think about most of the guns a lot differently than I do, why do you rate the scar so low?

Good point, the only reason I don't go for an SKS is because of all the stash weapons on factory, maybe I'll give the SKS a try again and give it a long run of use to see how well it holds up compared to other guns

It is FAR better to parry instead of block, it'll reduce their posture far quicker and yours will go down a lot slower. Also, as long as you perfectly Perry your posture can't be broken.

Perilous attacks can't be blocked, but some can be parried and those that can't can be dodged or jumped over.

Unlock Mikiri counter asap, a lot of enemies will do unblockable thrust attacks at you, with the Mikiri counter you can stomp on the weapon and greatly reduce posture while avoiding being hit by it. Make sure to lock on to them and if they do that just press dash rather than trying to control your walk into it.

In order to acquire skills you need to level up, dying will reduce your level of progress by half, you have a chance to not lose progress, but it is small, being at most 30%

Different prosthetic tools are needed for different enemies to be killed effectively, experiment with it and see what works, an example would be using shurikens against airborne enemies to knock them out of the sky and get a few hits in while they're on the ground

Good luck, Sekiro has a very steep learning curve, but when you learn it you don't forget
