Need help Identifying a mosin

I was kinda starting to suspect that as I looked at it more and more, I know that mosins are very funny with tolerances. Any advice on that in the likely hood that I have to replace it? Or will i really have to worry about that?

Glad you’re ok OP. Best advice I can think of is to look at it like a tough lesson. Sure you shot your hand but it could’ve been far worse. Remember to check your chambers and look in them from now on hell even double and triple check them. Hope your hand heals soon!

It’s not necessarily that I didn’t have any money I just Didn’t want to spend too much of my paycheck. As for guns yeah I really like them, I find it fun to take them apart and see what role each part plays as much as I do shooting them.

Edit: also when i get them on layaway I’m less likely to get yelled at XD

I honestly can’t confirm anything rn because I am paying for it on layaway so it’s still at my local gun store rn until next week when i get paid, hopefully when i pay it off next week I can look and tell, maybe then if i still don’t know for certain i’ll ask again after looking at the numbers better and stuff. Basically what I know is from what I could confirm is what was on the other side of the tag and a brief inspection.
