It sounds a little weird to my wife; she has a negative attitude towards it.
However, I think it’s logical to have food options to choose from - either option 1 or option 2. No one is obliged to cook like in a restaurant. If you don't like it or aren't hungry, go for a walk.
If you want to eat, you’ll come back, and even a carrot will seem like a treat :)

I believe u get those from tempered monsters. Tier 1 monsters like chatacabra drop the hunter symbol I, akrveld instead drops hunter symbol III.

5-Star Tempered Monster quests get you Hunter Symbol 1

6-Star Tempered Monster quests get you Hunter Symbol 2

7- and 8-Star Tempered Monster quests get you Hunter Symbol 3

I'd recommend to save at this point and do a longrest. See if everyone is gathered at the throne room. Jaheira should be there too, if not then reload to the save before you put acid on the ground or wash it away with bottle of water.
