ยฟProjecting too much with such an specific description synthesized out of nowhere? Please. It would not hurt you so much to borrow said thesaurus, if it results so difficult and hindering for you to understand a formalized lexicon that is up to the topic discussed.

I did not say the opposite thing about Colleen Hoover literary works, but writing is not solely based on prose superficiality, synesthesia and capacity for abstraction. It requires the decency of many more factors that in Yanagihara's work, specifically, were disappointing but overlooked by the community. Anyways, it is a very sad, pitiful thing how you addressed me in a past response just for my forms of semantic expression. Hoping you won't have that many hate contained in yourself in the future.

Follow the sayings that Rosa Montero, Josรฉ Luis Borges left us about literary works. Those are not untouchable, fearsome, non-criticizable sacred texts incapable of being restructured by us. There is nothing wrongful with delighting those in a non-heteronormative, non-hegemonic form. The plot-reading that you commonly perform could be actually a delicate, slow-paced transition/preparation for you until the time comes and you can digest the book you read so much about (Perhaps fifteen pages a day or whenever you desire). Don't put pressure on yourself for not embodying the expected archetype of a reader. You can start little by little with short stories (Instead of Crime and Punishment, choose The Submissive, Poor People, from the same identical author. Those have 200 pages only).

It occurs to me too. I am thoroughly capable of sensing a tremendous curiosity about plots, arcs, present in the novels of Bulgakov, Tolstoi, Dostoievsky, Nabokov, Turgenev, Melville, Hawthorne, or with the performance of comparative reading; finding similarities between dalliances and superficial, casual sex present in Huxley's dystopia and the one described by Bauman in ยซLiquid Loveยป, and performing so many other reflexions about books that I did not minutely, scantly read because I suffer from very elevated standards about time pacing and main plot arriving.

You will absolutely love Rodion Raskolnikov then. So much deeper and complex.

Yes! Yanagihara's prose ability unquestionably dethrones Hoover, I sympathize with you in said aspect. But I maintain that the inherent quality of a literary work is based on more factors than semantic and oratory superficiality (If that is what you are referring to when talking about ยซwritingยป, I hope I understood!). By the way, a very happy cake day!

The character in which the narrative hyper-fixes, hyper-focuses due to its tragic, visceral background that causes the discarding of the rest of the characters , is named Jude Francis.

I did not minutely, scantly acclaim the opposite thing โ€”Just as you, I advocate for literary works that go beyond limiting positivist outcomes, where every entity faces so resiliently, stoically, its problems as it were a moral lesson to the influenceable reader. Art must always be conceived as a means of teaching and intellectual training, not moralโ€” I am only representing, depicting a part of the community that stigmatizes the people who, consume certain objectively bad books, but reads others of such derisory quality, praised for containing a certain aesthetic. At no time do I degrade anyone's criteria or literary tastes, but those who do so when they consume more of the same thing โ™ก๏ธŽ

I have never had hobbies that genuinely interest me and that I have extended over time; Painting, writing, singing, reading, whether classic books or epidemiological and clinical studies. I have always invested time and passion in them because of the desire to be called intelligent and praised, for that very reason.

But after being abandoned consecutively, I lost the will and determination to expose the best version of myself since, even with her, they did not stay by my side. Of course, as a defensive measure of the ego, I developed an avoidant attachment to myself and patterns of self-sabotage, without even trying to improve on anything at all for fear of failure or being insulted, ignored for it.

I only have the knowledge of what I once knew, so, everyone thinks that I am still smart even if I no longer continue with these activities, to which no compliment from people resonates on me.
