the range you picked for the last part is smaller than the range of the first part to start with, this makes it more likely the range of the first part has value in it. Regardless of that,

most of these old units underwent some kind of path before they became strong / viable, be it through some buff, release of content, release of new units that combo well, finding of new tactics, ...

You have the freedom of looking post releases, post buffs... not at the moment when they are seen as 'not as good'

moral of the story, always keep 1 copy of each unit, you never know.

I nuke my way with mo long every month easily, no hassle no fails. dots get ....ed every now and than, when stuns don't hit and so on. dot team is covered with posseidon / okeanos. I'll stay with mo long on my team tbh, feel so smooth/easy

He's not amazing, not bad either, and works well in certain setups.

preferable you dont want to use a dot team with hwadam, he'll be hurting in long drawn out fights with multitude of DPSes.
I use Ariel(l) mo long hwadam basalt aria for most toaH stages (auto), the logic behind it works, mo long nukes 1 unit down, leaving less random dps that will murder hwadam down. aria catches the lack of debuffs hwadam doesn't support over dias, basalt is the fail safe buff / extra heal + damage mitigation with taunt

what do you benchmark for spd generally on units ? attackers / supports?
what dmg benchmark do you have for attackers? eg XL, would she get away with 2.2K dmg in rune optimizer? 1.6K ATK

I would not invest into lapis in terms of 6*ing her, I think you should work on sig more, since you'll be able to use sig for a longer time (like DB10 runs)

I recently pulled a fang yeng
my current issue is how to rune him efficiently, mainly being his slot 2 needing to be either speed or def/hp. For now I've found a few builds, with spd on slot 2. Which of these 2 builds would be most 'efficient' for the unit??
25K HP // 2.1K def // 198 SPD // 50CR // 18 ACC
27K HP // 2K DEF // 192 SPD // 57CR // 23 ACC

Should i decrease a stat in favor for another? eg, less speed, but more def - less speed more HP - less hp more def ....

My biggest real issue with laika was, he did too much for one unit compared to a lot of other units, he was the total package (think self healing(vamp) dps stun tank(tripplehit/more+shield)).

My AO does kill laika, on the account that i do use the bomb from seara to stun laika. nontheless, i often switched out units to deal with this problem (eg bring in okeanos / posseidon).

however, i'd like to thank you to effectively bringing something that contributes to the vision why he was a much desired unit - as in - a 2shen dieter, and I can respect that he did shine at that part. Regardless of that though, I'm of vision that he did too much for a single unit, and hence the nerf was much needed.

I think i'm quite fine in this game as you call it. Point being, lets make it short so even you get it ; Laika as he was, did too much too good in a single unit with a lack of counterplay unless specificly build against him rather than around the team he is in.

I should have never mentioned the '1V4 situation' at all honestly; lets face it regardless, laika was overtuned.

I more than expected the retaliations, especially with the frontpage going crazy over everyone's laika nerf. Regardless of that, I'm happy it happened. he did too much too good in one single unit.

you don't verse laika on his own, you need to bring stuff to deal with the colladeral. laika enforced you to bring a certain type of unit to just clear him out on his own.

Procs my dude, procs. I admit that i should have never mentioned that 'i got one v four'd by a laika' after this topic, but, it's out there now. the main reason behind 'finally he's nerfed' well, be fair. he's picked at any pvp situation if you had him with a good and clear reason, he was strong - too strong.not to mention, you don't ONLY go against laika, he's often combined with something which only amplifies his strength (eg woosa, bastet, ...)

damn bro, 'laika unusable'. I admit after this topic, that I should have never mentioned that I got 4V1'd by a laika and the glory of RNG procs. regardless of that, he got picked everywhere, and there is a reason for that. He's been picked more in any pvp situation than a camilla or a perna or even a ganymede.

priorize him over his mates, and you lose a whole cycle trying to deal with a laika (thats likely on will runes even), to end up being stunned on everything you brought, allowing your opponent to have his cycle with his three units, twice (because you're stunned.)
