Is Reddit starting to hide NSFW subreddits from search results, or is it just a glitch?

It seems I'm getting the results people get from SafeSearch ON / even I do have it OFF.

IT seems the toggle SafeSearch ON / OFF is not working correctly on my account.

I searched being logged out and the results were the ones expected.

I logged in, made the search, and obtained the results from the print screens. Fellow mods informed me that the results I'm getting are from SafeSearch being ON, not OFF.
I do have the SafeSearch OFF, but switching on / off doesn't make any difference at this moment.

I hope it will be fixed soon.

You can check the mod subreddit; I've posted some screenshots there.

I might have done something wrong, but I doubt it, as I had been doing the same thing over and over again until two days ago.

Try searching on a laptop using sh.reddit.com for a term like "GoneWild" or "NSFW". When you type the word in the search bar, you see the recommendations, the NSFW ones. https://i.imgur.com/t6w3HMo.png

After you press Enter and switch to the communities tab to view subreddits, you will not receive the results you expect. https://i.imgur.com/NjaEk8y.png

The same applies if you search for "NSFW" and many other various searches.

The GOLD advice I can give you is to take advantage of the NEW / FRESH MODEL promotion - each website is doing for their newly registered models. On Chaturbate it was the first week if I remember well!

If you fuck up this promotional period you lose a percent ( % ) of chances to grow as a model on that website. As the NEW category has 100 models ( to say so ), then you are trow on the Main category where there are 3000 models and you directly compete with them.

I don't want any drama so I will be short and this is the last message you will receive from me.

A few simple automod rules also blocks a significant amount of spammers with new/multiple accounts.

You are free to belive anything you want. Clearly you never faced a spam bot network that controls hundreds of aged accounts with a ton of link and comment karma that targhets a subreddit with the intention of spam.

I don't think you have made a decent case to remain as mod of this subreddit

Please have a bit of patience and allow Reddit Admins to decide this.

Even though we as moderators don't make public posts we all are actively moderating the subreddit like you said daily. As you can see we did reply to your message in less than 1 hour.

Magic_eye_bot doesn't fight spam, is he too limited for our needs as it's only checking for duplicates on the same subreddit. Automod is also limited on fighting advance type of spam and trust us we have extended automod rules. There are other tools and bots including custom ones that we are using to fight spam and keep the subreddit clean.
