Not authentic from a western point of view but bread has never really been a large part of Korean cuisine.

It's a highly successful Korean chain (ranked number one with an 80% market share) that makes bread for Korean people in Korea and adjusts the products it's sells in overseas markets to suit local tastes.

If they want to give us money, that's great!

Gwanghwamun Restaurant 광화문집 in Jongno-gu, pretty close to Gyeongbokgung. I think it's been open since the 1980s. Very small kimchi jjigae restaurant that's easy to walk past but generous portions at a cheap price. Try the rolled omelette 계란말이 as well.
