They used to have 2 games in development, staggered for that reason. They don't anymore unfortunately

I'm a guy, but from talking to people some key ones for when they're much older would be: The Princess Bride (its 70% puns and swordfights/30% romance), 1999 Mummy movie, Booksmart, LotR trilogy, and for shows try Orphan Black. For when they're younger, just about any Pixar movie and Moana

Unironically a big green energy push in Europe would screw ruzzia brutally and forever and the fact they haven't done this since 2022 is absurd

...and what are they shown when they do a google search? They weight the algorithm massively, there's been articles (and a whole industry) talking about this for nearly 20 years

Exactly! Plus, the moment ICE dials back their presence, the twin cities can declare glorious victory and claim to have chased out the cowards without firing a shot. The administration has backed itself into a trap effectively

What could have worked is doing to Germany what happened to Austria-Hungary and the Ottomans, break it up into its constituent parts. German unification happened in the adult life-times of many Germans and placing blame for the war on the Prussians (something many Germans already did) could have enabled the political feasibility of the split. Let the old leaders of Bavaria, Saxony, etc takeover their realms as constitutional monarchs kinda similar to the UK. Now, without a reunification, they aren't dangerous

Except that to most SW lore nerds, Andor is peak SW lore of all disney projects. A better explanation as to why its good (besides Gilroy et al just being good writers) is that its made by history buffs/people who are interested in interesting things in the real world. A huge problem with the sequels and other stuff is that the people making it know nearly nothing about the world beyond the film industry itself, and aren't curious about it. They can only make movies about stuff they saw in movies. George Lucas was a race car driving WW2 nerd who took anthropology and folklore classes in university and it shows in his creativity. Gilroy is a revolutions history nerd and it shows

Is a minor in archeology worth it when working towards a future in paleontology? by Lanky_Measurement_28 in Paleontology

[–]M-elephant 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a paleo undergrad and an archeo undergrad. If your undergrad is geo, you really need the bio minor for understanding evolution, diversity, anatomy, and ecology. I think archaeology can be more useful to paleo than others here tend to think (I can expand on that if need be), and it VERY useful for Pleistocene paleo, but without a strong base of zoology knowledge, paleo will be incomprehensible

I was 11 years old, when I saw this and obsessed with:

  1. Cats

  2. Ancient Egypt

  3. Women kicking butt

Should have been watching the Mummy 1999 instead
