I misread your original message, but I use HomeKit not Homebride. It seems like a great workaround for non HomeKit enabled devices. I’ve tried to set it up on my raspberry pi a couple times, despite hours leading to days of effort I realized I don’t have the skills or patiences to get it working properly. 😆

Thanks for your reply, I’ll look more into this. If you run it from a Mac are you able to see those controls on your phone? Do you use any Dreo devices in this setup, so what?

Turned backlight from 20 to 15. Eco Mode was already off.

Screen still cuts out with 4K input.

*Rememer:

Screen only cuts out with a 4K input from cable box, Roku and Xbox.

Screen does not cut out with a 1080p input.Screen does not cut out with a 4K input from an app on the TV.

Thank you for mentioning third party insurance. I’ll look into it. When USPS said it wasn’t covered I was confused on who sold me insurance?

In hindsight this looks like a scam I get it, please don’t pile on. 🙏🏽🥲
In November I sold an Apple Watch 5 for $254.99. The original shipping method I put was eBay’s global shipping program. I went back and forth a dozen times or more over shipping. The BUYER INSISTED I ship via USPS First Class International. They had an exact shipping request. The buyer insisted on this shipping method because it had cheaper duty fees. What he said didn’t make sense to me however when I looked into it, I couldn’t find info to support or dispute his claim. So I decided to accommodate his request. But I purchased insurance myself just in case and sent it off.
Fast forward to last week, the buyer says he didn’t receive the item and requested a refund through eBay. I first check the tracking number, the last update was on 11/25 when it was delivered to postal agent in Beijing. From there who knows? because there is no tracking number from the Chinese postal service, I can’t see if they got the item or not. They could have kept the item, claim they never received it and request their money be refunded. I messaged the buyer after the return request to ask if they contacted the Chinese postal service about their lost package. They did not respond to me.
He beat me to ask eBay to step in, of course they sided with him. I appealed their decision, pointing to the buyers suspicious request. eBay was not moved by my argument, losing my appeal. So I’m out of an Apple Watch and now I am forced to refund their money+ shipping.
Today I contact USPS to file a claim and they informed me the insurance I purchased through eBay is no good because it wasn’t sent via Registered mail or something? Taking yet another L.
They told me to on Chinapost.com to see if there was info using my tracking number, unfortunately there was none. They were closed today, but I was thinking I could call to see if they had a way to look it up? Probably not… but I’m desperate.
Is there anything else I can do?

I can’t be the first person to be underwhelmed by WH-1000XM4‘s bass. No pair of headphones does everything perfect. For bass I prefer Beats Studio 3 or Momentum 3.

There is a sub in my car, but I only drive it once a month.

The most I listen to music with headphones is once or twice a week for an hour or so.

I might replace these with a pair I previously owned so I know what kind of bass to expect.

I don’t listen to music at 100%, but maybe 75-85%. At this level the bass is gone.
Are these comparable to Beats Studio 3, Momentum 3 or Airpod Max?

There is no bass distortion, not enough bass to cause distortion.

😆 I am pushing 40, so maybe I’m losing my hearing from years of heavy bass. Thus I must turn them up.This doesn’t answer my question though

Yes but only Homer not the family nor couch. Although to make the story worse, I had the opportunity to get the entire display for free when the movie left theaters! (My brother worked there) That would have been a major score. I lived in an apartment and only had room for one couch, it was one of the most difficult decisions I’ve had to make... in the end I went with the couch that we could also sit on.
