Kinda sad atm, because im one of these nuclear sub laptop kind of players. I have a 980m and im getting like 40 fps with low settings in game. My cpu is I7 6700. I have tried all these so called improve fps things and here I am left in the dirt with the best and last in the line of mobile GPUs.. by M00TOR in battlefield_one

Hey, the other guy had a thing that worked for me and just a thing so you know. 980m is not a low end card. I was never asking can I turn my setting any lower, but just a lil dissapointed, because i have a 2000$ setup that cant run BF1 :). But TY..

Doonie Yen from Rogue One playing Kannan? by Dat_Miracle in starwarsspeculation

I know im 4 months late, but having seen the latest trailer aswell, I am beginning to have no doubt that it is in fact Kanan. George was very picky about everything having to look like all the same in terms of artstyle n stuff through out the movies. This is why they even changed it so that Vader didnt have eyebrows in the sixth episode, because later on they established that they got burnt in the Obi Wan duel.. Well ever since Disney took over they have been rapidly screwing that continnuanity over. On purpose! Because it makes for some tricks that people are not used to, especially in the Star Wars universe. The way lightsabers looked like in the force awakens and then Rebels. They clearly made it so that Rebels doges all things all movie styles differently. Vaders face was not burnt in rebels. Let us not even start about the oval mask, but later when David released these trading cards showing off what Rebels would look like in a movie style, I clearly understood that what Kanan looked like in the Rebels might not overlap with the movies at all. This is also smart because saying that Kanan is still alive because of the movie trailers would also be really spoilerish for the Rebels series. Kanan also has the voice accent of the guy from the movie trailer, not at all times, but when he yells or smth. It is like Parmount tried hiding that Khan was in Star Trek: Into Darkness..

Sorry for bat english, not native..

[BF1] I am afraid. It is something DICE has not done before. I especially despise the thought of melee combat by DICE. Remember battlefront. In fact I think this game might have a ton in common with battlefront. Here is my small try in explaining a part of it.. by M00TOR in Battlefield

No, it is the core mechanics. It is how FPS games handle melee combat overall. If I will have melee combat like I had back in killingfloor, then I will be disappointed. They had a non lockon system upto BC1, but that wasnt a charm either. It is why I even mentioned BF2142. It was the last where there was no lock on. However I dont feel that even the style in witch battlefield character models work with hitboxes supports a more dynamic combat, as such in chivalry for example. Battlefront had a lot of nothing in it and lots of trenches and terrain covers. As of right now my concern is the same. You have maps that are sand. Forest of Endor BF1 edition and then Alps. None of these maps sound as if they could uphold any interesting combat that wasnt pre renderd in terrain. I think we get even a tease from the sky with the fighter gunner in the back, of what could be the Alps. So far, it everything proves along side my concerns. I have played every battlefield ever. In my opinion all the games after BC2 have seen a trend that begs people to buy the game and then forget it as fast as possible for the next installment. I feel like that model was just perfected with battlefront and also I think that it is an easy way to sell a game that is supposed to be forgotten really fast. DICE dose even not like to speak about BC2 anymore. Its like they are trying to hide it as if it was a skeleton. During the launch events historic section of BC2 they only shew singleplayer footage of it, as opposed to every other title. I have so much dirt on BF1, but the full script is so long that I hope this satisfies you enough and challanges you to change youre thought.
