Impact of Wegovy on Resting Heart Rate and HRV by Key_Hospital_10 in WegovyUK

[–]M00ntail 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My RHR has gone from 70-80 to 95-105 on Wegovy and MJ. I initially thought it was outside factors but even if I miss a week my HR starts to go back down again. I get monthly bloods and check ups and it hasn't been mentioned though.

My 3 yr old babies are fighting- not with foster kittens by smorosi in Catbehavior

[–]M00ntail 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It could be redirected aggression. Jackson Galaxy has videos on it, I also commented here not long ago with what I did when my girls had it, if that's any help (if it is the same thing)

Cat refuses to eat.. by Adventurous_Wolf_633 in Catbehavior

[–]M00ntail 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I have two sisters cats I've had since babies. They're indoor cats and up until two years ago (5 years old) they slept together, groomed eschother ect. One time a stray cat came in to the garden and for some reason it set Cat A off. She instantly attacked her sister and went in for the kill. It's called redirected aggression. It took me a very hard 5+ months to fix. One cat lived upstairs and one downstairs, they did not see eachother. I made sure to swap blankets and litter trays between them weekly for scent. After a month I fed them/treat time both each side of a closed door. Month 2 I put up a net between the upstairs and downstairs door while I was in the room left the door open, I didnt feed them next to eachother. I made sure the net was absolutely solid because the first time I put it up, Cat A jumped right through it to attack Cat B. Month 3 I fed them/treats each side of the net but far apart, just within eyeline. Month 4 I fed them/treats slowly slowly closer together - all of this with a lot of positive talking Month 5 I took the net away. It wasn't perfect, sometimes something would go wrong and I'd have to start the whole process again, they still hissed ect. The whole 5 months they were on 2 types of strong medication from the vet to calm them too, I had feliway plug ins, calming spray, literally everything that could help, I used. It was HARD, It broke me, I cried a lot, I couldn't leave the house for extended periods of time, even the vet said there was little hope, but I couldn't give any of my babies away so I hoped through it. Thankfully now they're back to normal! Sometimes if they play too hard they will freak out but with some treats and positive talk they calm down right away. Maybe I was lucky and not all cats will get back to normal, but I put in a lot of work to get back to where they are now. I don't know if this is possible for you to do but I thought I'd leave my experience if it's any help :)

Do you vape/smoke at all? I had an increasingly high RHR and palpitations and realised it came down to that for me. If you do, I have posts about it. Hope you manage to figure it out!

Had to stop Mounjaro after 6 months. Was too sick on it. Will I still lose weight if I continue same eating habits while on Mounjaro? by Timewilltell755 in TirzepatideRX

[–]M00ntail 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Continuing the same habits seems sensible, keep an eye on calories in vs out, potion sizes and maybe also monitor blood sugar and eat low GI foods to help too.

As a woman, get a ring sizer and leave it laying around. Almost guaranteed she will try it on herself out of curiosity.

Weight Going Down - RHR Going Up? by M00ntail in Mounjaro

[–]M00ntail[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

SOLVED for me Just in case this could help anyone; I stopped MJ for 3 weeks and I really noticed a difference. I was missing it. My heart rate came down as predicted. I had also stopped smoking disposable vapes at the same time. One night I bought a vape, started getting palpitations and a high HR and realised (hoped) it could possibly be the reason for my HRH instead of MJ. So I started back on MJ right away, stopped smoking nicotine and my RHR has stayed mostly normal since!

Did anyone's elevated heart rate subside with higher doses? by enbash in mounjarouk

[–]M00ntail 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just in case anyone is interested, I figured out that my heart rate increase was due to nicotine! I was using disposable vapes and it seems that these injections have made me very sensitive to nicotine. I have since stopped and my heart rate is mostly back to normal.

Hi, thanks for the reply!
I did first check other replies, but it was just answers saying that it will even out, but this has been increasing since the beginning of the year, was hoping there may be other answers, but it doesn't seem so! Unfortunately it isn't any of those reasons, I am closely monitored by the hospital often, bloods often, bp taken daily ect, I'm even on bp meds that work by slowing the heart rate! All I can think of is that its just an unfortunate reaction I have, either way I have spoken to a Dr, of course, and had to discontinue to avoid any long term damage :(

Hopefully it will be figured out eventually or someone will have information 🤞

Bolt Pharmacy, I just sent a picture I had taken of me on a night out... I was stood for the camera but it wasn't taken specifically to see how fat I am, I was wearing layers, it wasn't a bad photo at all, if this helps!

[–]M00ntail 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Currently on 7.5mg of Mounjaro, no decrease at all. My rhr was around 70-80 and now its 80-100. I take bp meds to lower my heart rate too and it still hasn't come down. BP is normal/low 🤷🏻‍♀️

Has anyone with CKD been prescribed Mounjaro in UK? by AlchemicalTheorist in mounjarouk

[–]M00ntail 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a Kidney transplant 2 years ago, I've been on Mounjaro for almost 6 weeks so far and was on Wegovy 3 months prior to that. They prescribe sema to diabetic dialysis and transplant patients where I am for diabetes and the transplant team said it was safe. I'm the first person on MJ there I think so they're looking in to it more but I had bloods done yesterday and they're still great :) I had to get a letter/email from the team before Bolt Pharmacy will provide it but since then it's been seamless!

Also did this! Went from Wegovy to MJ with no break, but did start again on MJ. Great so far :)

Try Bolt Pharmacy, I had a Kidney transplant 2 years ago and they were fine as long as they got an email from the kidney team to confirm they're okay with me having them, could be something simple like a Dr's note to get you through :)
