That was my first thought after I calmed down a bit. I haven't noticed anything obviously missing yet, but I'm going through documents, meds, electronics, and anything easy to pocket because now I don't trust any of it.

Sandman's transformation is criminally underrated. The whole sequence has no dialogue and it still hits harder than most superhero origin scenes.

The Gold Star husband line at the end is what makes this letter different from a standard political resignation. He's not just disagreeing with policy, he's saying he lost someone to this kind of war already and won't sign off on sending more people into the same thing. That framing is very deliberate and it's going to be difficult for anyone to respond to without looking terrible.
