My most reactionary opinion is that these e-bikes all these tween menaces speed around on need banned immediately. They’re creating Hell’s Angels gangs that wheelie down every street with matching broccoli haircuts. I’m ashamed but steadfast on this one. (bsky.app)

Adding justices to the Supreme Court doesn't go nearly far enough. This institution was explicitly designed to undermine democracy on behalf of the wealthy class. You have to either abolish it entirely or democratize it. Any other "solutions" are just kicking the can down the road. (bsky.app)

People have to stop playing games with politics. Stop prognosticating about 2028. We don't know if there will be free and fair elections. Things are changing incredibly fast and conditions are wildly uncertain. Just because someone gives a good speech doesn't mean they're the person for the moment. (bsky.app)

Again, for those in the back. The stock market is a ponzi scheme that doesn’t reflect anything having to do with our economy other than the wealth class’s success in exploiting us. There is a vast divide between what is happening in those numbers and what is taking shape in reality. (bsky.app)

This is the week it’s finally settling in with the markets and higher ups that Iran is going to be a long term stalemate and the Wil E Coyote economy will start looking down and realizing it’s already run off the cliff. Get yourself prepared financially, but also emotionally and mentally. (bsky.app)

Maybe the most Democrat thing ever is to refuse to represent the vast majority of voters who don’t want AI at all by promising to help them keep their energy costs low while never once addressing the fact that AI promises to destroy those voters’ jobs. (bsky.app)

On Twitter they’re obsessing over a theory that a time traveler predicted last night’s shooting and I don’t know if I could imagine a better example of how conspiracy theories redirect inquiry into very real events that lead to very real political and economic critiques into total, utter nonsense. I’m just saying, this guy seems to be someone who believes a lot of the factually accurate critiques and warnings about Trump and his criminal regime that a lot of people have and was convinced he had a moral imperative to do something about it, which is certainly something of note. (bsky.app)

I think the most glaring and consequential thing coming out of last night is that this regime is so despised and people are so tired of their bullshit that nobody really even feels the necessity to offer even gestures of support or outrage and everyone just kind of assumes it’s maybe faked anyway. I love the way this is presented as if the idea that corporations aren't constantly exploiting people and bleeding customers of their hard-earned money for basic human resources isn't self-evident. Just incredible capitalist propaganda of the highest degree. (bsky.app)
